There's a folder called redist, and just clicking on a few of the things in there seemed to have updated something, so hopefully I can get past this cutscene and have the game not crash. After the wilds i should be good but its a known thing for this game that I'm playing through for the 5th time...

So I'm rooting around in a games files just to try to figure out how to stop it from crashing at a specific point I'm at (its dragon age origins) and I found the bonus folder that has the soundtracks and wallpapers. Let me be clear I know nothing about game files or the like so I'm being careful.

Now that I think about it, that probably happened due to me needing to factory reset my phone a 2 and a half months ago. (I was relying on muscle memory for my pattern and the fingerprint biometric and couldn't get it again when needing to input the pattern lol)

You ever back a game on kickstarter, then way later, you find out some info that makes you regret that choice? As far as I can tell, it's not bad, it's just not the game that was promised? The reviews are mixed-negative from what I'm seeing. The game is Starsand Island, and I regret backing it.

The night sky is so pretty tonight.

The moon is behind clouds that look like (for lack of better words) fish scales, and thus illuminating them. This was taken with my phone cameras' night mode.

Ditto except it was the regular or default mode of my phones camera, and thus, the picture has come out darker but no less impressive.

So I cleaned my coffee pots water basin. Didn't realize that there was a bit of a buildup from the water. But now there isn't, and I can taste the hints of caramel in my coffee again. Note to self: clean the basin more often.

Now, if only Charlie's goes as simple. Friday, she was supposed to have hers, but she put up so much of a fight that it wasn't worth it. Technically, today was supposed to be her rescheduled day, but again, she wasn't having it. So Maui went instead. And I'm so proud of Maui.

Maui had a vet visit today, the first one since we adopted her, and she did phenomenal. Just a general check up, and update to her immunizations. The ride there she was meowing so much that it was breaking my heart. But as soon as we got back home she got as much tuna fish as she liked.

I did some drawing during @camronjk.com stream tonight. First time actually drawing and not just doodling in several years... maybe 5 years? So I figured why not try reference drawing their moonrabbit model's face! I don't draw often, maybe once in a blue moon but I think this turned out decent!

Maybe instead of forcing it, inspire your brain? I tend to want to play when I listen to just the music/soundtrack of the game. If I try to force myself to do something, my brain tends to equate that to trying to touch a stove burner that's on. Therefore, brain says 'no! Danger!'

Should also mention that I had that pattern for like 5+ years, and the fingerprint unlock for 4ish? So it just became muscle memory and yesterday at work I was thinking of a different pattern and realized that I actually don't know it anymore. So glad a specific factory reset worked out like it did.

So after a day and a half of suddenly not remembering my pattern to get into my phone (thank god for the fingerprint biometric) a trip to Verizon and having my shit backed up, I now am able to have my phone fixed from my dumbass. No more pattern lock for me. Still don't understand how I forgot that.

I have been enraptured by a book series so much that my video schedule might need to be altered. If anything, my hobby of video creation will be paused for now while I sort out my life, mainly looking for a new job as my boss is retiring and closing the business. ...fun times (sarcasm used).
