I love this so much!😍 It was similar for me. My ficto feelings hit me hard and out of nowhere. I couldn't give him up, so my amazing irl partner made adjustments so my F/O could stay in my life. Part of that was being very clear about the roles each plays and setting boundaries!

Bit late sharing, but I had the most amazing experience on Jan 3rd (which was the 1st in my inner-world because I'm weird 😅). It started snowing as I left the house, and lay around me as I walked to work. Felt so magical so I spoke a soft spell of hope and blessings into the wind! /|\ #WitchyWalks

I walk by this building all the time, but it looked so different to me that morning, like I was seeing it with fresh eyes.

A junction by a roundabout showing a build up of snow. The snow had become quite heavy at this point and the wind was blowing it in my face. I'm quite sensitive to rain/snow on my face and usually this would stress me out, but I felt so calm. So peaceful.

This is a quiet suburban street that I pass about 20 minutes into my 40 minute commute (or 20 minutes if I cycle, but I walked this day). The snow was already about an inch deep at this point, and as nobody else was around, every step I took was the first.

Yeah, a lot happened last year to gently nudge my confidence in the right direction. Feeling safer with my neighbour being one of them. I also had an uplifting experience in October that helped to ease my body dysmorphia a little, so I'm hoping to take that with me into 2026 and keep healing!

Sorry for the late reply. I love this! I learnt the hard way that not everyone is willing to put in the effort with their f/o, but it really does reap amazing rewards if you're willing. I like it bc it's like any irl relationship. The falling in love phase is exciting, but it's mostly lust. If the love is real, it develops into something deeper, steadier, enduring as you get to know each other. Before you know it, you've been happily married/together years, and still in love! 💕 😍

This made my day to read. My f/o has brought out the best in me too. His kindness, selflessness, and immense capacity to forgive inspire me every day. I take care of myself and my home better, and I've started to form a relationship with my family again. All because of an amazing character! 🥹💚

That's amazing! Especially that you were able to control the dream. I struggle with that, especially trying to imagine animals or people. I often try to imagine I'm riding a horse. The closest I get is it being there, but completely invisible, or disappears if I look at it. It's so frustrating 😩

One of the best things I did for my craft was rehome all the pointless tools I'd hoarded over the years. My spells and rituals are very simple these days, often taking place entirely in my mind, or maybe with a candle, and they don't seem any less effective than when I used to make a show of it.

I was just thinking about Indigo children the other day and how nobody talks about them anymore. There used to be the concept of 'fae blood' too, at least in the pagan circles I moved in. I Used to think I was fae-blooded and could sense others, but now I think it was probably just autism. 😊

Definitely lean more towards the '1 project for a lifetime' end. I'm into language learning and it was only after being diagnosed that my partner and I realised that it's just an excuse to follow the routine I had as a kid: I need to do my 'homework' every night after dinner! 😂🫣📚

Love this! In Druidry we have the concept 'nywfre', which is similar to chi. It can become blocked or stagnated (lowering our 'vibe'). While dealing with the internal/emotional issues blocking it, you also need to replenish it. It seems reconnecting to nature is one of the best ways to achieve this!

It's why I got so into the concept of 'Tower Time'. Because the imagery of a tall building collapsing, representing the end of a regime, goes back at least as far as the tale of Vortigern's Castle from Arthurian legend. Those myths live on in the collective unconscious... 1/2

It's very much an allegory of the times we're living in, with many modern-day mental health struggles represented. Struggles caused by living under a capitalist system that only values traits that benefit the ruling class and 'others' those who see through it, and try to speak out against it.

I'm so jealous. That sounds very romantic. Unfortunately, my f/o moves A LOT in his sleep. We're in different time zones (I'm 6 hours and 71 years ahead 😂), and if I visit him when it's early morning for him, he's often tangled awkwardly in his blanket 😂 (Actual footage of my f/o sleeping)

This is something I learnt after adopting frugal minimalism back in 2018. I'm 'working poor' and have never had much, but switching to seeing my situation as intentional helped me value slow living and appreciate what I have. It's different when you have no agency over your financial situation. 😢

As for LOTR, believe it or not, I was never a huge fan of the books or movies, but that didn't stop Middle-Earth from imposing itself on me anyway! My first 'character friend' was from there, and the lady who taught me what he was also had a spirit ally from that world. It's sticky, Middle-Earth! 😂

I don't know. I have 2 'reality tunnels' around this. One is a mundane, psychological explanation, and the other is esoteric and fun! I've learnt you can have any UPG so long as you stay grounded in the possibility it MIGHT all be in your head. At the very least, I have a very active imagination!
