Finished Arcadia Fallen 2 yesterday and I think this is the hardest the post-game blues have hit me. The joy of the characters, the solidarity and comradery against the systems they faced, the heart clenching after everything they faced it'll be alright. I wish I could experience you blind again.

The Germans really cooked making "Hobbyless behaviour" an insult. It is both devastating, applicable to a wide range of people and behaviours, and doesn't resort to swearing.

Man ranting on the internet about the Superbowl halftime show or complaining that something is "woke"? Hobbyless Behaviour. Girls mocking another girl for not looking right? Hobbyless Behaviour. Mindless vandalism? Hobbyless Behaviour.

It is more powerful than "get a life" or the English "You're Sad" because it gets to the central point of the matter, and that is wonderful. Danke, Deutsch.

In animation I've seen plenty of people assume their dept. is the hardest/most vital. As someone who's worked from vis dev to final stringout I can tell you: it's all vital. It's all skilled work. An engine is an important car part, but it still won't run without wheels. Be a team, not a tier list.

One day I'll finish something... Better than nothing? This is Lobelia from @omivel.bsky.social's TTRPG Fantastic Adventures of Sorcery and Prowess playtest! Bartender, Necromancer, Job Agent (Temp, Full, or Hit), and Assassin extraordinaire! Don't mind the ghosts.

An unfinished drawing on lined paper done by pencil. The one in the middle of the drawing (Lobelia) is a bartender with disheveled hair tied in a bun polishing a bar glass and is surrounded by six (6) ghosts. One is leaning over their left shoulder, one is whispering into their right ear, one much larger ghost is behind the rest arms crossed and looking inquisitively to camera, another is leaning on the bar with a fork and knife drooling hungrily, and the last is mischievously messing with a drink on the bar.
