Work space is a desk. The iPod lies open in 4 pieces. hDD, front case, back case and battery. The ifixit kit and open laptop with tutorial page is open. A USB bendy light from Ikea lights up the work space.

The broken swich is shown on the back case.

The battery is now bent. Not swollen. I am assuming it is probably safer to just replace it.

Kid dropped his laptop. Repair centre said LCD screens have to be repaired by manufacturer... It is an ACER. Bought it in Thailand, I now live in rural Japan. Is this cactus or can I buy a replacement screen? Still turns on. #repair #acer #laptop

@Setok I use the app and have Masto set up to open links through it. I love it's app blocker and other privacy features. As I have to use apps that love trackers it helps.
