That feeling when there's a new Metroid game coming out, and you'll have to get a Switch 2 in order to play it. I've got nothing against Nintendo, or the Switch 2, I just .. can't really swing that money to get one right now. There's so many awesome games coming up later this month and next month.

Just got back from the Resident Evil movie. Big fan of the games, and I still enjoyed the movie for what it is. Sure there's a little disappointment that there wasn't MORE concrete evidence of the RE world in there, I do however feel like the heart is in there. #film #filmsky #movies

I've always enjoyed the fake Avril Lavinge theory - essentially that she was replaced by a body double. I've always found it believeable because there was a distinct shift in tone and taste after her first album "Let Go". Now I'll admit, most of it just a shift in the taste of music. But also 👀

It's sad honestly. There are not a lot of companies that give their games a chance to live or breathe. The budget is always stretched right until the very last minute. If it's not a hit when it first comes out, then it's over. Feast or famine just erodes trust in gaming.

I had a lot of engineering books that cost around $150-$250 dollars - of course written by the previous year professor so he could get those juicy-juicy royalties. But after the class was over, they would only buy the books back for $10. College textbooks are another form of exploitation.

I've always been a weirdo and enjoyed birthday cake flavor - with some chocolate brownie bites and some sprinkles. A second runner up is butter pecan. I love it even more lately because I learned about the history of that flavor and how it showed Black America's ingenuity and resistance.

There's immense pressure from shareholders to demonstrate infinite value and growth by showing any kind of usage of AI AND forcing it into their products and it's users. Sadly, even in deeply creative industries like music cannot escape the marching drum that is AI replacing humans. It's gross.

I've been thinking about The Acolyte since it recently climbed back into Disney+'s top 10. It was a show that needed a little bit more time in the oven for sure and could've ironed out all of the issues "normal" people had with the show with a second season. Nobody gives second chances anymore.

See, this is what I get for trying to buy local. I went to Home Depot to buy a new lithium battery for my drill. A helpful employee told me that they don't have Black+Decker products in store - online only. But they do at the local hardware store about 10 mins away. It costs twice as much.
