Yeah, my disk is formatted to btrfs. I had to look around for a solution for what felt like 2 hours or so, because I reinstalled the OS and deleted everything in the process, so I had no snapshots that I could use. I eventually got it working, but neglected to screenshot the command that helped me.

Reinstalled CachyOS, but my laptop still isn't booting to the OS. I'll get on my desktop PC and get an updated ISO file to put onto a USB stick and see if that helps.

Tried to use CachyUpdate to update stuff on my laptop running CachyOS, and it suggested to reboot after the updates finished. For some reason, it wouldn't restart when I clicked on Restart, so I held the power button to force shutdown. But then it wouldn't boot to CachyOS at all. Reinstalling the OS

If you plan on playing mostly old games via emulation, I think a lower amount of storage to save some money would be good enough. You could always use a micro SD card for additional storage, but it won't be as fast as the internal SSD. My micro SD card is full of indies and other light games.

I myself have a 1TB OLED, but used to have a 512GB LCD that I upgraded with a 1TB SSD. If you can get an OLED, I suggest that. It's noticeably lighter in weight than the LCD and the battery lasts a bit longer before needing to charge.
