Our Albanian waitress last night was less than impressed with Ivana’s attempt to seize land in Albania that is designated as a nature reserve . Isn’t there somewhere nearer to home in the US that they can desecrate?

And Brexit divided people & set up the small boats crisis for Farage et el to exploit, & yes austerity likely was a smoke screen for cutting taxes for the wealthy, hammering everyone else. Like many wasn’t engaged enough & thought parliament would stop it & protect us.

Overwhelmingly the domestic bully boys or older people who allow the media to manipulate them but a lot of money & effort by your nefarious right wingers to influence British politics & public opinion is entirely unwelcome ( on my part)

Farage is the reason I’m a Labour Party member - he’s a disgraceful person who is uninterested in public service. His only aim is self aggrandisement & he must be opposed if the UK is to avoid fractious relations with our European friends & neighbours & the final hollowing out of our public services

No other country in the world created a VIP lane. Our public services had been deliberately run down, there was no plan in place. Johnson failed in his job, his government ministers, failed. In a moment of crisis many offered help but some thought, ‘How do I make money out of this?’.

Isn’t the point that Labour have introduced socialist polices that Tories wouldn’t dream of-VAT on private school fees & abolishing the benefits cap, nationalisation of the railways & pursuit of green energy. This shows the difference, they are not the same at all , media hype. Starmer was a good PM

It was more nuanced then that - Johnson on record as saying ‘no one is talking about leaving the single market’ & ‘the UK’s domestic problems are not caused by the EU’. Russian interference & as we now know farage &Johnson paid by a crypto billionaire to stand down Brexit candidates in 2019.

Do you wonder how reform get votes without policy or credible candidates ? I ‘d hazard a guess that it’s GBN and those that want to divide us to protect their wealth that persuade people to vote against their best interests - Brexit is a prime examples

65 million aren’t going to agree . I wanted to remain in Europe- it’s tough accepting the decisions that go against you-even worst when the indefensible gets defended. I hate that innocent people die around the world . I expect that democratic gvmts such as Israel wouldn’t deliberate kill civilians

He made Labour electable again, quite the achievement. It’s undeniable that such a broad church like Labour is difficult to please. governing is hard, there will be challenges. Certain people get away with a lot in all walks of life. I hope the country & the Labour Party don’t rue the decision.

there was the outrage starting with currygate. They had nothing concrete & it’s easy to make the case for & against. realised this in school debates when I was made to debate for a position that I didn’t agree with. All Gvmts make mistakes. Some are corrupt, others dim. Keir was neither

When 1976 hit there weren’t many clothes - too expensive . Had to cut down a pair of flares to get relief plus there wasn’t the readily availability of water / soft drinks everywhere or ring pulls . No air conditioning in cars , but plenty of lead filled petrol fumes when you opened the windows

3,000 zero-emission buses are now running on London’s streets. That’s the largest green bus fleet in Western Europe, growing 100-fold in under ten years. We’re on course for two thirds of the fleet to be zero-emission in under five years - we’ll keep going until the whole fleet is green.
