Matchups are a thing in the NBA. No matter how good you are, some other team has your number. OKC would likely beat any other team in a 7 game series but the Spurs. The Knicks counter the Spurs well, but if they met the Pistons in the eastern conf. finals, they likely wouldn’t be in the finals now.

I’m old enough to remember in the earliest days of cable TV, people thought it was ridiculous to pay for TV that came with ads, even though it was less ads than broadcast TV. Cable companies said they had to offset startup costs, but they would eventually have no ads once enough folks subscribed.

Dolphins fan. We’re in a rebuild, so won’t contend for the AFC East the next few years. Jets won’t either because… Jets. After last season, we can all agree the Pats having another long run atop the division would suck, so hope to see Josh Allen and the Bills get to the big game.

Pistons fan here. After how the Spurs have handled OKC and us, and as good as they’re playing lately, I’d say they’re in the pole position heading into the playoffs. Even more so since the Knicks are not likely to get through both Boston and Detroit on the road, as current seeding would require.
