And due to our pressure on Jefferson, all SPs are covered by the contract! We are also excited to have won a Non-Discrimination policy, a fair grievance procedure, as well as a Labor-Management Committee to continue to negotiate in between contracts.

The three year contract includes an immediate raise to $24 an hour with raises in each year to bring the base pay rate up to $25 an hour. Extra pay for invasive programs would also now significantly increases the hourly rate.

With 97.06% voting yes, Jefferson Standardized Patients have overwhelmingly voted to approve our first union contract. Not only is this huge for Jefferson SPs, but for all SPs as this is the first union contract for SPs in the country!

Jefferson SPs are still paid lower than any other school in the region, and Jefferson mgmt continues to deny us a fair contract!

How does the pay rate at @jeffersonuniv for Standardized Patients compare to other schools? Until our rally this past summer, Jefferson hadn't given SPs a raise since 2008! When they finally proposed a raise, it was for $1/hr.
