After one week of no alcohol: My sleeping is generally uninterrupted. Overall, I feel better. My stomach acid is way down. Less heartburn. The bank account likes it. So far, no withdrawal symptoms. I have no cravings for booze. My energy level is up. No hangxiety

I think a subset of society losing their purpose thanks to AI is quite dangerous in the long run. People who feel like they have no purpose and nothing to lose is a dangerous combo. But we’re only at the beginning of all this.

An interesting thought exercise. If AI removes purpose from a lot of people’s lives, what happens to those people? How does that impact society as a whole?

Today we tried these two pizzas from Aldi. The bacon one was good, but the star of the show was the cheese pizza. Baked for 12 minutes then broiled for three, the sauce, cheese, and airy crust were fantastic. Would definitely buy again.
