I'd been waiting to roll credits to fully talk about this game, but it is almost certainly going to be my GOTY. It's SO good. Gorgeous art, gorgeous music, and genuinely one of the most human stories I've ever heard, about brotherly love and what it means to be alive. Absolutely pick Nocturne up.

This is why I can't sleep without a cooldown period. I have a whole routine I need to do (taking medicine, stretching, brushing teeth, etc.), and then I lay down for 30-60 minutes and watch something that will grab my attention. Usually 2 episodes of whatever anime. Otherwise I have that issue too.

Nocturne is over 99% positive with the 360 reviews we have at the time of this bloop, with dozens of people writing how much the game has moved them. Go buy it. You won't regret it. I'm not just saying it because I worked on it. It has something meaningful and heartfelt to say.

Been playing two games lately, both really good. Nocturne just came out and is a lovely rhythm game / RPG with some amazing spritework, and Titanium Court is a puzzle roguelite with amazing writing and presentation that swept the IGF this year and fully deserves it

I'm so excited when someone comments on my sound design in Nocturne. It rarely happens, and genuinely makes my day. Especially when it's about something I put so much effort into that goes unnoticed, like the footstep sounds. Someone commented on a piracy site, and I've never felt more whiplash.

I think a lot of the time "solo dev" isn't treated like a descriptor but rather as marketing buzz words. It's said for its function in creating a narrative, not because people put much thought into its accuracy.
