Really enjoyed my recent trip to Greece - here's a photo on the island of Delos, which used to have 30k people living there (and at one point forbid anyone from being born or dying on the island) and is probably the best-preserved city of ruins I've ever seen!

#YouTube embed thumbnail aspect ratio screwing up? Just figured out a fix: YT default embed code (for me) is width="560" height="315" - that's 16x9 but width is small enough that YT's using some zoomed-in thumbnail option instead. Use at least width="720" height="405" & problem gone for me!

We mostly did this to ourselves by virtue of our cavalier attitude towards social media IMO. I think it accounts (in a wide variety of ways) for a great deal of what ails Western society these days. And I'm really not sure if we're societally past the point of learning from it, which is saddening.🙁

FINALLY beat Spirit Island with a couple of friends. Unfortunately, we were playing incorrectly for several games (didn't start with any power cards, which made it, well, impossible!😆) but figured out my mistake after watching a full play-through video on YouTube. Can't wait to play correctly again!
