If anyone wanted to scrape the #AlphabetChallenge or anything else publicly posted on the internet they need not do it so visibly. I suspect these visible bots are just programming exercises. (or exercises in instructing an AI).

That's my inability to type properly and being too lazy to proofread before I post. I intended to type "the theme" Without your explanation I would have felt limited to buildings.

Thank you - I prefer to travel on its smaller sister ship, probably because it's the one I travelled on first. P.S. Amazon in the US says Starlight isn't available - Amazon in the UK says it is - but wants to charge 50% more and I resent that for a Kindle edition. Is there another source in the UK?

#ArchForma #Transportation #ECK The Atlantic Road, Norway or as the phone said Averøy, More and Romsdal, Norway

This is a black and white photograph showing a winding, two-lane road curving up a steep, grassy hill. A white car is driving down the road near the top of the hill, while two motorcyclists are riding down the road closer to the foreground. The road is lined with metal guardrails on both sides. At the very top of the hill, where the road seems to end or drop off, there is a flag on a pole. The sky is overcast, and the background features a hazy mountain peak on the left.

The #BlueSkyArtShow The theme is #Walls Sydney - while everyone else was focussed on the Opera House

This is a mainly black and white photograph showing a person (in colour) standing in front of a massive, textured stone wall. The person, who appears to have blonde hair, is wearing a light-coloured t-shirt, ripped jeans, and a dark bag slung over their shoulder. They are standing on the left side of the frame, looking down at something in their hands, probably a phone. The stone wall behind them is highly textured with various patterns, cracks, and some plant roots hanging down from the top. The wall itself looks very old and weathered, with large, uneven blocks on the left side transitioning into a smoother, more continuous rock face on the right.
Image Details
The photograph captures a stark contrast between the smooth, modern appearance of the person and the rugged, ancient texture of the wall.
The Wall: The left side of the wall is constructed from large, rectangular stone blocks, while the right side appears to be a solid, natural rock face. There are dark streaks running down the stone, suggesting water damage or mineral deposits.
The Person: The individual is positioned relatively small in the frame, emphasising the scale of the wall behind them. They are dressed casually, with a plaid shirt tied around their waist.
The Roots: Near the top centre of the image, a network of thick roots hangs down from some unseen vegetation above, adding to the organic, weathered feel of the scene.

Go to your camera and search ‘boat’ and post one that you like. "According to the map the treasure should be right here."

#31DaysOfGraves Day 11 Humorous Back in Highgate Cemetery and in case you're wondering. midlandsrainbow.wixsite.com/lgbtq/post/l...

A close-up photo of a weathered, speckled grey headstone for Tom Wakefield. On the left side, there is an arched, engraved illustration of a man with glasses and a mustache sitting on a bench, holding a cigarette, with a cat sitting by his feet and a book resting on a stand in front of him. On the right side, the engraved text reads: "TOM WAKEFIELD, WRITER EDUCATOR, MOTHER, 1935 - 1996".

A bronze-colored (but not made of bronze) statueof a cat crouched on a stone ledge. To the right of the statue is a bouquet of pink and white flowers. The background is a soft, out-of-focus green, suggesting a wooded or garden setting.

#31DaysOfGraves I'm late - but given the subject - late seems appropriate. Day 7 Home A man's home is his castle. Anyway this is the Navvies memorial in Otley.

This photo shows a weathered stone monument in a graveyard, resembling a miniature castle gate. It features two round, crenellated towers flanking a central archway. To the left stands a tall, aged headstone, and another headstone is visible through the arch. The monument is surrounded by overgrown grass, with a black wrought-iron fence and lush green trees in the background.

To quote the paper "This work is exploratory in nature and our findings should be interpreted cautiously." My thoughts on medical research and its reporting are quite closely aligned to those of John Ioannidis and I suspect that things have worsened since 2005 journals.plos.org/plosmedicine...

journals.plos.org

Why Most Published Research Findings Are False

Published research findings are sometimes refuted by subsequent evidence, says Ioannidis, with ensuing confusion and disappointment.
