Ah. I won't see it until next week so wasn't sure if it was something more overt that I was unaware of.

They've been quiet this summer but earlier in the year I saw shows featuring each Kuchar brother, Andy Warhol 16mm rarities, a couple great book related programs that featured 16mm films, and a number of programs related to the excellent SFAI exhibit. Looking forward to what they present this fall.

This has nothing to do with Disney. They own the Muppets, not Jim Henson Studio which collaborated with the General Mills Corporation on these reimagined classic cereal characters.

When I visited the Houston Meow Wolf (my favorite?), I made time for the Menil which has the Rothko Chapel and a building dedicated to Donald Judd. Super good Texperience.

I'm not against Batman working with Jimmy Olson to stop the bad guys, but I am a little surprised by his change in crime fighting tactics.

I vowed not to buy anything my last trip to Knott’s but couldn’t resist this hand carved bust.

I bought two of these Howard the Ducks around then, one for me and one for my daughter who was just 1 year old at the time. Also picked up a Cosmo in the same "Collector" packaging.

But holy moly what a movie. My first trip to the Vista and it is practically perfect in every way. We have no equivalent in San Francisco.
