This design, Ogre Grenadier, I started with some of the forms from @superactionfunboy.bsky.social ’s work in another id software game, Rage, so it shares a kind of DNA along with Quake’s juxtaposition of Lovecraftian, military and Medieval aesthetics like jousting and WWII helmets.
