Vermont is not having a grand time either. This time last year oil was $3.50/gal. We use about 850/gal each winter. That's an increase of over $2K from last year. These prices will hit all of New England hard.

Went shopping in Canada yesterday & got 2 boxes of Shreddies cereal, a box of granola cereal, a box of shredded wheat cereal, 2 baguettes, 4 croissants, & a large bag of Lay’s chips for $20 USD. Why are groceries so expensive in the U.S.?

Detailed receipt for items $28.97 CAD which converted to $20.45 USD.

That’s not correct. That seems to be defining Social Democrats - democracies like Finland, Sweden, Norway that work within a capitalist system. Democratic Socialists are very different. They believe in demolishing capitalism. Please explore the difference.

Basic difference between democratic socialists & social democrats explained. They are not the same. Please do your own research.
