In Revelstoke, BC to present The Song Collector at Lunafest, and it was such a blast. Amazing outdoor festival with a large young audience, all dressed up in sparkles and costumes, engaging with the art and artists in a way I’ve not seen before. Thank you, Revelstoke!

Setup of immersive installation The Song Collector. It depicts a 19th century space with tablets inside a small closet showing video images of a woman. A box with envelopes is standing to the side and there is also a bouqet of flowers.

A sunny alpine view with green trees and some snow on the mountaintops. This is Revelstoke, BC

One of the nice things about doing my immersive show again, is that I get to buy beautiful flowers for set dressing.

A bouquet of flowers in an oldfashioned stone vase. There are white dahlias with some green and purple branches added.

So wouldn’t it be cool if we could do what the trades ignored? Variety released its Emmy predictions, but never covered Uncanny Alley: A New Day or experienced it live. For an indie team in emerging media, visibility matters. #Emmy #Emmys #UncannyAlley #EmergingMedia #Variety

Honored to have been a part of the narrative jury for BAFTA this year. It’s been a joy thoroughly going through the excellent nominees and discussing them with the rest of the jury - so many wonderful insights were shared. And congrats to winner Kingdom Come Deliverance II!

Beautiful work by Zachery C. Longboy yesterday evening at the opening of Signals (digital media exhibit) in Vancouver.

Large hand drawn flowers and fish, not coloured in, projected on a dark floor.

Saw Taylor Tomlinson yesterday during her ‘Save Me’ tour. Smart, funny and original, focusing on religious upbringing and other family issues. Highly recommend to see live (not just on Netflix). Opening act Dustin Nickerson was lovely, too.

A photo of the stage of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver before the show. We see an image of Taylor Tomlinson on a screen with a qr code for future dates. There is a mic and stool with bottle of water on stage. The curtains have a purple light hue. Front rows are packed with people.

This year’s SD Comic Con was filled with a sense of community, love and support. Very inspired by Alison Bechdel humorously talking about navigating our current society, and George Lucas and Guillermo del Toro passionately sharing the importance of narrative art.
