The blue alternate jerseys I designed for the Syracuse Mets finally made it to the field... these are based on what I think is the nicest @mets.com jersey ever: the mid-2010s gray & orange blue road alternates. The script incorporates the 'S' from the Salt City Mets branding I made back in 2022.

I had an awesome, far-ranging conversation the other day with Michael Hallisey of The Spot 518 and he turned it into this nice piece about the release of my "Breakup '96" single! 🙏 It is nice to be back on the scene, or at least scene-adjacent 😎 spotlightnews.com/thespot/2025...

It's the 30th anniversary of the Hanslick Rebellion and we're kicking off our celebration with the vinyl release of 2007's The Deli Of Life. It's been remastered and it sounds (and, with the deluxe full-color inner sleeve, it LOOKS) better than ever! Order your copy at elasticstage.com/jeddavis

Bringing a much-requested '90s track back into circulation! "Breakup '96" is a revisitation of "I Wave To You". The lyric is SO '90s (it's about breaking up over landline phones!) that I elected to retitle the song for context. Stream it anywhere - linktr.ee/jeddavis can guide you

This is a stressful, garbagey world and it’s important to surround yourself with things that bring you comfort, catharsis and joy. Making music still does it for me and I hope that my music still does something for you. Good luck out there ❤️

Finally: a reminder that a number of my albums recently became available for the first time on vinyl - amazing-sounding, beautifully-packaged vinyl, complete with full-color jackets and inner sleeves. You can order them at elasticstage.com/jeddavis

I am also looking to have Shoot The Piano Player remastered for a streaming/vinyl rerelease, but that involves a new transfer from the Steve Albini reels; there are fewer tape machines out there than ever before, and I am not mailing those tapes or letting them leave my sight.

AND… Small Sacrifices Must Be Made! is coming back to streaming services, fully remastered by Chris Hanzsek. I’ve been noticing that many of my albums were last mastered so long ago, they predate the now-standard encoding of 24-bit master files, so I am doing something about THAT.

Also finally coming to vinyl: Jeebus’s Jesus Christ’s Supercar album (because it is technically Hanslick Rebellion + Reeves Gabrels), complete with Coop’s never-before-seen back cover design (it’s very special). Expect this in May, at which time the album will also be returning to streaming.

2025 is the 30th anniversary of The Hanslick Rebellion’s formation and we’ll be celebrating that all year long. We’ve got a whole new album recorded (first single dropping in March), and we’ve had The Deli Of Life remastered for a vinyl release that will be happening very soon.

Jed Davis is an American musician based in New York City. He sings and plays keyboards as a solo artist and with The Hanslick Rebellion and Skyscape.

HI... upcoming projects thread: On Friday, February 28, I will be putting out a single. It’s a freshened-up version of a song from the past that went out of print a long time ago and has been requested for rerelease a couple times. Here's a hint: will you stream it… or won’t you? 🤔
