Shores as a LB is cool but don’t shoehorn her into a coveted MF spot at Shaw’s expense. And of course Shaw and Sentnor missing but Cooper and Sears making is just weird.

Poor Naomi. It’s just all gotten off track (the Olympics being an obvious exception) since after 2023. I loved the move to Chelsea but she hasn’t shined there the way she had with San Diego, in large part due to unfortunately timed injuries

They should both be getting senior team minutes though.

I’m genuinely surprised that Shaw didn’t make the roster, especially because Mal made it presumably as a 10 and Sanchez also made it as a forward. Shaw squeezed out before Sears and Cooper. #USWNT

I’m genuinely wondering if Emma leaves Mal off (particularly due to recent injury) to get a better look at Sanchez. #USWNT

There are so many cool and culturally significant things Atlanta could’ve named this team. I’m genuinely disappointed that they decided to be ANOTHER ACFC.

Idk man Emma just has to find a way to get her on the squad.

Emma is going to have to get super creative to find ways of getting Shaw and Lavelle together during the World Cup. Their connection is simply undeniable. #NWSL #USWNT

Gotham had 129 passes IN the final third. Chicago had 38. That is…outrageous.

TripleEspresso @jedbartlet.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

With Dickey and PTJ both being out of top form, you wonder if Bloomer gets a chance?

I remember watching that Sky Blue club before I was super into woso. 9 points in 24 games is just horrifying. They also had a -31 GD and gave up 52(!) goals that year.

Yeah the biggest disappointment for me thus far has for sure been Pink but I had been a Gaga fan as well.

I always liked Guro before but I absolutely fucking ADORE her now. I am so happy she’s a Bat. #NWSL #GothamFC

I can’t wait to watch Fuller with the senior team.

TripleEspresso @jedbartlet.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Their goal differential is DOUBLE the team leading the group lol

030

TripleEspresso @jedbartlet.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Can they still somehow miss the KO?

I already thought Utah was in that second group after Washington and Gotham. They’re really going for it and this helps Jameese with exposure for the national team.

TripleEspresso @jedbartlet.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Utah was already *rightthere.* They could really win it this season. I’m moved. #NWSL

I know you’re joking but I could see: Seb to KC. Vlatko to Orlando Shaun Harris to Chicago.

Unironically, he should go to Orlando. #NWSL

Yeah for me it’s Gotham and Washington. Then the next tier should be some combination of NC, SD, Utah, and Portland.

2 for me lol. I am so out of touch.

ROSE!!!!!! I was wondered that she would look to get home. She must love being a bat! #NWSL

I looked into this a bit ago for the WNBA, which does require teams to spend 84% of the cap. I’d like to see something like that for the NWSL (although to be fair there are usually very bad WNBA teams - lookin at you Seattle!).

100+ more passes IN the final third for Denver? I am… speechless. #NWSL
