It’s Friday night so you know what that means 😏 (Gonna enter every Pokemon into my phone’s autocorrect and then practice my karate moves in the basement)

Every time I go out for a solo dinner with my mom I get tempted to spontaneously come out. Like, would it be the worst thing in the world to spill the beans with no real plan at a sports bar converted into one of my favorite Indian restaurants?

Great weekend for Warhammer: Built my first full set of terrain (Volkus) Played two games of Kill Team, losing a close match with my Hand of the Archon team, then lost another for my first time playing the Mandrakes, a lot to learn there but still had a blast with both matches

I actually thought that finally having stable housing would give me the time, space, and security to make externally visible progress in my transition. The ongoing political currents had other ideas, and I’m feeling a net negative effect on taking this public right now 😒

If you say #warhammer40k most people think about an Ultramarine, right? Well, this is what I see. The perfect encapsulation of my two armies. Ecstatic that I found this set for $8 over the release price 4 from years ago. And mint, like it was stored in some magical place without sunlight or dust.

Boxed Warhammer 40K set, Piety and Pain. Includes Drukhari and Adepta Sororitas. The cover art shows one of the Battle Sisters locked in combat with Lelith Hesperax, Queen of Blades. Around them grim dark combat rages on in an epic scale. If the Sister is going to survive this, she’s going to need… a miracle.

It’s wild how much a good weekend can rejuvenate you -prepped for some good news next week 🤞 -beat Control (amazing game!) -added some really cool units to my Warhammer armies -spent time outside in great weather, saw a bald eagle -got to play Doom the Dark Ages early -made ribs in the slow cooker

I can’t believe I finally got to be one of the people who got their preorder for a game early and can play it before a lot of the community! Feeling blessed and distracted at work today, I just want to go home and keep slaying demons #DoomtheDarkAges is amazing!

After careful consideration I have picked a second faction to start for Warhammer, very excited to join the Adepta Sororitas! Now that I have my xenos (Drukhari + Harlequins) and Imperium factions sorted, I just need to choose my favorite flavor of chaos. #warhammer40k

Very good round of Kill Team, only lost by one point! Should have had a commanding victory but the dice weren’t having it… maybe next time Also gathered the units I need to build the Harlequin team to mix things up! #warhammer40k

More Kill Team this weekend, made some really good progress understanding my Hand of the Archon’s abilities. Only lost one unit and delivered a handful of kills and plenty of pain to the other teams Also brought home these jokers to start adding some Harlequins to the mix!
