Watched Alien. It was a bit of a slow burn and I expected more action and scares, but the setting, concept and worldbuilding are all super solid. This franchise has seemed interesting to me for ages now, so glad I finally got started with it. Very curious about the rest.

Watched Robin Hood: Men in Thights. At his a certain charm in its presentation and humor, but it's not as strong as some of Mel Brooks' other works or other similar spoof comedies imo. It does have a couple banger gags still tho :) Decent watch, give it a try if slapstick's your thing.

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Watched Die Hard 2. The action sequences were a bit lackluster and it was a bit of a bummer they didn't give McClane similar disadvantages to the first film, but the story was pretty solid and I liked that they kept the idea of all the adversaries being realisticly competent. So... Good watch. :)

Watched Shutter Island. Really quite liked following the mystery and to trying to piece things together a bit. The whole thing felt well-rounded and was satisfying to watch. Great watch, 'ery noice. :)

Watched Fight Club. Cool premise, I like the way it builds up to the climax. It gets a bit insane, but egh, it was a pretty easy and entertaining watch. Would recommend.

Watched The Wild Robot. Was a big fan of the painted artstyle. It also had several great gags that genuinely caught me off guard. The story and animations were just alright to me though, nothing too crazy or outstanding imo. Pretty good watch overall, I imagine especially for younger folk.

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Watched No Country For Old Men. Interesting film, especially Anton's character and how he's depicted. Have to admit I found the greater message a bit difficult to decipher, but the ambiguity still made it cool lol. Also thought the minimal use of music was a nice touch. Worth watching.

Went to Spa-Franchorchamps two weeks ago to visit the racetrack and the Fun Cup, and shot some pics while I was there. It was a lot of fun standing on the track I've seen on TV for years now, felt very surreal. Great experience for sure! Here are some of my favorite pics :3 #photography

Some thumbnail work I did for one of DougDoug's most recent video's over on his second channel. As you can see, some stuff was cut out, but hey, work's work haha. It's nice to play with SFM every once in a while still

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Watched Justice League: War. Especially liked the humor it had. Also dig the animation style. Other than that, fairly average punchy hitty owie superhero action stuff. So in other words, a decently good watch. :)

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Watched Batman: Under The Red Hood. Pretty solid premise. Always quite like the slightly darker DC stuff. Animation was good, story too... just all round pretty good. It's also nothing outstanding either imo, but it doesn't need to be. Just a good watch overall.

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Played through Mafia (2002). While it's clearly very ambitious for its time, the gameplay has aged TERRIBLY. Can't say I at all enjoyed my playthrough, excluding the racing mission lol. The pacing is slow, the driving interesting but also slow, the gunplay is horrid and the missions are annoying.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Watched The Mandalorian And Grogu. Pretty good, but kinda the same as the show. Still looked great, pretty good action and characters, a bit of humor... just not much that really stood out to me. It's a pretty good watch, whether you're a fan of the Mandalorian show or not.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Watched The Book Of Boba Fett. It had a couple highlights and good ideas, but it was kinda mid lol. The entire way Boba was pertrayed made him come across as super stubborn and kinda dumb, with not a lot of growth. Watched it for the Mandalorian plot relevance, but can't recommend it otherwise.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Watched The Mandalorian. There were parts that stood out to me and I really liked, such as exploring the Mandalorian culture, but most of the show was just fine to me. The character growth of Din and Grogu throughout was pretty good tho. Overall, enjoyed my watch, but nothing exceptional imo.

Watched Jay Kelly. Kinda mixed feelings about it. I thought it was a very interesting character study, but I feel it could've potentially gone a bit deeper. Some plot points also just felt a little odd. Overall it was pretty good imo, just falls short in places.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

Watched Project Hail Mary. It wasn't really what I expected, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The comedic elements were strong and so were the characters and their dynamics. Maaaybe I would've liked a bit more from the story, but that's me nitpicking. Overall good watch, would recommend.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

Watched Puss In Boots. Seen it years ago, but decided to give it another watch because I kinda forgot it. It was a fun watch. Pretty solid all round, but nothing really stands out to me either. The sequel is a lot more impressive in comparison. Still, good movie, enjoyed it. :)

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Watched Batman Returns. Kinda suffers from similar flaws and benefits from similar quirks as the first film, except that the tone felt even more flip-floppity (penguin pun). It was alright, it has its moments.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

Watched Tim Burton's Batman. Quite liked the sets and the music (already knowing the latter from the LEGO Batman games which I love). Some bits of the movie felt a bit goofy tho, and not in a great way. Kinda took away from it all. Overall it was decent at best imo, hoped for a bit more.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

Watched Star Wars: Tales Of The Underworld. Kinda underwhelming imo. The fact that a lot of story has to be condensed into such a small series probably doesn't help, but it all felt a bit simple and surface level. It was ok, but I doubt I'll come back to it in the future.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

Watched The Dictator. Very short and in terms of plot kinda weak and all over the place lol. Felt like just an assortment of skits and jokes losely tied together into a narrative. But, the gags did get me a good couple times, so I don't mind it lacking in other elements. Good watch overall.

001

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

100%'ed Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Story wasn't as good as the other games and the mechanics were... different; not necessarily better or worse. There were also A LOT of them. The detailed environments, cassette futurism aesthetic and gunplay were still great tho. Overall, alright, but flawed.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 01/01/2026

Watched Mousehunt. Used to really like this movie when I was younger, so I wanted to give it another watch. Some of the practical effect work holds up surprisingly well. The overall plot and character were pretty good still too. It's a fun watch, I can recommend it.

Say hi to Ika! She's a Zelda-style character I've been working on over the past year. This project started as a college assignment, but then I decided to add a bunch more stuff like more detailed materials and a rig, and now she's finally finished! I'm super happy with how she turned out! :3

Thingaling I didading for DougDoug's most recent second channel video. Tried to recreate the meme as closely as possible (but I did have to deviate a bit here and there to make it work as a thumbnail). Posing this was fun lol, happy with how it turned out.

Happy 2026 everyone! Let's make it a good one. :) I know I got some cool stuff lined up, so I'm excited to be sharing that very soon...

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 26/12/2025

Watched Over The Garden Wall. I liked the old storybook aesthetic, but I'll be honest when I say I didn't really understand the story and its meaning at first, which made it a bit difficult to really get into it. Took some time to learn more about it, and now I can kinda appreciate it.

100

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 25/12/2025

100%'ed Black Mesa. Great experience. It looked amazing, the gameplay was generally satisfying and I liked how faithful it was to Half-Life, while also expanding upon it. Do wish some setpieces were refined a teeny bit more though, to really drive home the "think to survive" over gunplay element.

110

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

Watched Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Bit samey as the first one, but in a bigger and better kind of way. Especially the practical- and special effects and stuntwork were great. Don't know yet how far into the franchise I want to go, we'll see. The first two are definitely a good watch tho.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 11/12/2025

Watched The Terminator. Been meaning to watch it since forever, finally got around to it. I quite liked it. Especially the premise is interesting. Some of the vfx are obviously a little dated, but to me it only added charm. Reckon I'll like the sequel even more, so I'll watch that soon too.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 23/11/2025

Someday I'll finish the next video... someday... Thx so so much for getting this one to 1k views tho, that's way more than I ever thought it would get. :3

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 17/11/2025

Watched The Equalizer 3. The morality was presented as very black and white, which made it an easy viewing experience, but also a bit of an average one. Overall it was alright, but I wish the concept of Robert's character was challenged one way or another at some point; would've been interesting.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 08/10/2025

Watched The Midnight Gospel. While I appreciate what it's trying to do and the messages it's trying to convey, I just couldn't get into it. The animation was nice, but the disjointed podcast vibe simply didn't work for me. (1/2)

100

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 06/10/2025

Watched Inception. Thought the concepts and themes were incredible and super interesting. It was all quite nicely woven into the plot, but was admittedly a bit hard to follow for me at times, making it lose some of the emotional edge. Still, very unique and thought-provoking film.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

Watched Kingmans: The Golden Circle. It felt a but samey as the first one, but it was still pretty good. The action sequences were great and the transitions between scenes were on point. It's just the plot that wasn't anything spectacular. I can recommend it tho, it's a fun watch.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

Watched The Expendables. I expected more from it tbh. It could've been a real celebration of classic action movie stars, but it was just boring imo. The action was generic, the characters lacked depth and the plot was mediocre. I might watch the sequels to see if it improves, but can't recommend.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 02/10/2025

Watched Kingsman: The Secret Service. Great camera work and effects in the action sequences. Gave them a unique energy and flow. The story wasn't anything crazy, but good fun. The characters and the dialogue made it all work very well imo. Good watch, would recommend.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

Watched The Prestige. Brilliant film. It provides a really interesting example of how obsession can take over someone's life. Not sure how I felt about the true nature of the Tesla trick, but the grim twist surrounding it more than made up for it. Definitely recommend giving it a watch.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 30/09/2025

Watched Blade Runner 2049. Visually incredibly impressive. Love how it greatly expanded on the worldbuilding of the franchise. This could also be felt in the story, which posed similar questions as the first, but in a different light and some more. Great watch. A long one, but it had me hooked.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

Watched Blade Runner. It poses some interesting questions that are fun to think about. The film itself was a slow burn and a bit confusing at times, but it did have me hooked pretty much the entire way through. Curious about 2049 now, wanna watch that too.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 26/09/2025

Watched Ready Player One. Visually very impressive and lots of fun fan-service and references, but it lacked in substance. The story was alright, but had little depth. I feel like it had a lot more potential that went untapped. Decent watch, certainly a spectacle, but that's it.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 25/09/2025

Watched Goodfellas. Interesting film. The story was grounded but being told in a captivating way. I do think I would be able to appreciate it even more if I brushed up on my cinematography knowledge again tho. Still, solid experience, give it a watch.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

Watched Men in Black³. A lot better than the second film. I liked the characters more, the plot had a bit more impact and the gags landed way better. I'd say it's about on par with the first film, if not a bit chaotic because of the time travel stuff. Good watch, I can recommend it.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

Watched Men In Black II. Plot felt pretty much like a repeat of the first, but weaker. Some sequences felt very awkward and clunky, and not in a comedic way. It also felt like there were fewer setups and payoffs, which made it feel a bit simple and lazy. It's mediocre at best imo.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 22/09/2025

Watched Men In Black. Fun premise. The film is a little short tho and the plot not as exciting as it maybe could be for the concept, but it's fine. Hoping to find that extra depth in the sequels, which I'm planning on watching too. I can recommend it, it's pretty good.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 20/09/2025

Watched The Dark Tower. Some of its concepts had potential, but it all ultimately fell short. It was too short, too verbose, tried too hard to be cool and edgy, and the plot lacked excitement and depth. Really wished more of it, but it was kinda mediocre. Can't really recommend.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 19/09/2025

Watched The Equalizer 2. It was alright, but kinda more of the same. I feel like we got to see a little bit more about Robert and how he thinks, but not by much. Decent. Think I'll watch the third film too just to cap things off.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

Watched The Equalizer. Found it interesting how the tone of the whole movie kinda matched the energy of the main character, but this did take away from the suspense a bit in my opinion. It had some highlights, but the first half was stronger than the second. Decent watch, idk if I'll go sequels.

000

Jeagle_g @jeagleg.bsky.social · 17/09/2025

Watched Spider-Man 3. The plot was a bit all over the place and not as solid as the previous two films, but I still enjoyed it. The emo-Peter scenes were stupid but hilarious at the same time. Overall, good trilogy. Might watch Spiderverse sometime too now.
