I'm no constitutional expert, but seems to me that art. 1, sec. 4 of the US constitution doesn't limit "Treason, Bribery, or other high crimes and Misdemeanors" to those being done while POTUS. He may have committed ALL those crimes prior (or between) his time in office, and SCOTUS can't save him.
