Look! Crafty stuff! I recently participated in an ATC (artist’s trading card) exchange with a group of cross stitchers. The theme was “Once Upon a Time.” I stitched this little guy that @flossyfoxshop.bsky.social designed. I hope my swap partner likes it.

Et voila! I am SO pleased with this and I can’t wait to cut it open and see how it looks. I think that maybe, MAYBE I’m getting the hang of sourdough. I will put a link to the method I used downthread, as well as a couple of things I learned this time around.

This is the closest game of yarn chicken that I’ve had in a LONG time. Whew. Pattern is the Pine Barrens Cowl (small); yarn is Audine Wools harmony in “Rhythm & Blues.”

Peel and core your apples and put them in the biggest pot you have. Add no more than 2/3 cup (160ml) water. The apples will release a LOT of water as they cook down. Top the lid on and turn the burner on to med-high heat until you hear bubbling, then turn the heat down as low as it will go.
