Finding a job will be based upon your Japanese level and visa. There is Hello Work, which can help you find a job. They may even have a dedicated window for foreigners.

This was a fun comic on shopping for supplies. I thought these would be like 1 page comics but they actually span multiple pages #fireemblem #feawakening

Two characters shopping. One wants to buy cute outfits while the other wants to be practical, resulting a various comical interactions

As far as I know, in terms of a story, only binding blade, engage, and FW have manga. Awakening and Fates have comics Older games have novels (hard to find though)

Localization is a good thing and can sometimes make changes for the better. But if there's one thing I don't understand about it, it's the tendency to sometimes swap in a completely different word when the original has it said clearly. For instance, if the character says "pardon" in clear English,

The adding is very common (it's even in Spirited Away). In Famicom detective club, I think it serves a second purpose but I did point out a few cases just in the prologue

Here is a skill that native Japanese students use and is really helpful for understanding a sentence. By breaking down into sections (often the word and particle), it's easier to see how everything relates to each other and the words themselves #learnJapanese #日本語勉強

I haven't looked deeply yet, but it looks like it's mostly comics so probably just gags rather than an actual adaptation (Says it's a comics anthology)

I may have picked up a couple more Fire Emblem manga

J. D. Nyle, author of Neostriker @jdnyle.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

How is your experience using it? I have tried dictionaries in the past, but I have found having to pick up a separate device was too much friction unless it has a memory system for me to test later

Out of curiosity, what is the reasoning behind that?

Though maybe that's giving too much credit. Thanos was at least random. Microsoft appears to be specifically targeting workers and senior talent and keeping managers

020

J. D. Nyle, author of Neostriker @jdnyle.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

With the constant and decimating layoffs, we should probably have a meme of Nadella as Thanos by now

My original switch and 3DS gets more usage than the PS5 so yeah, I don't need a PS6. Also Sony as a whole company (not just playstation) has been disappointing this year so not really a fan anymore

Anyone know how long the final episode in the Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is? Just finished episode 4 and the kid is getting worn out by how long these can be
