Metal Machine Music is great if you have guests you want to get rid of (I'm also looking to get it). I would go with John Lee Hooker.

This hit harder than any after school special.

I like to wait until after and go through whatever is left. Allows me to avoid the crowds and I've never had trouble getting what I was looking for.

I myself will not be seeing it, but it does seem like some people have forgotten what a "popcorn movie" is.

0120

Jason Keller @jdkeller7.bsky.social · 12/04/2025

I've just listened to it. It's great! I've added it to my long vinyl wantlist.

Jason Keller @jdkeller7.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

Right. There really isn't a Radiohead album I don't like. Even albums typically frowned upon by the fans, like The King Of Limbs, I still quite like.

110

Jason Keller @jdkeller7.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

You can definitely see the growth Radiohead went through as a band. My experience was very similar to yours.

Jason Keller @jdkeller7.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

It's totally true about the discovery. I grew up in rural Kansas. There were barely any music stores, and they certainly didn't carry the stuff I was finding on download services.

110

Jason Keller @jdkeller7.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

I don't. I will check it out! Thanks for the recommendation.

Those were the days. I was a Limewire user myself, but used to "acquire" a lot of music as well. I still have a lot of my burned CDs.

Jason Keller @jdkeller7.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

It's awesome. Top notch album from a great band.

Radiohead - Kid A I remember this coming out in my late teens. It blew me away. I think I listened to the CD nonstop for weeks. For some time, Kid A was only available as a 10-inch (like this one). It has since come out as a standard 12-inch. #VinylCommunity #NowSpinning #Radiohead #MusicSky

Threw on a record I hadn't heard in a while. The John Coltrane Quartet - Africa/Brass The cover is a little worse for wear, but the record is in pretty decent shape. Picked this up many years ago at Dusty Groove here in Chicago. #VinylCommunity #NowSpinning #Jazz

Surfing with the alien after a busy day. Joe Satriani - Surfing With The Alien I believe Satch Boogie, the last song on side A, was a playable song on one of the Guitar Heroes. I vaguely remember hating it 😆 #VinylCommunity #NowSpinning
