The worst about Srebrenica is the wide public's ignorance about Serbia refusing to apologize for the genocide to this day. No healing until this happens. A dark reality, just a week after Ustaše were applauded in Zagreb.

TUESDAY COLUMN🗞️ Last night #GironaFC slipped to defeat, leaving them just three points above the relegation zone😓 After a dream season, and a European debut against the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and PSG, it could all end in disaster. But how did it happen? 👇 @jdeposicion.bsky.social ✍️

Good time to repost my latest article after the 5-4 Barça victory against Benfica — arguably the worst game the team has played, three weeks after crushing Real Madrid to claim the Supercup. Why it keeps happening & why you should accept it's a double-edged sword.

He needs a move away from attention, but also someone to pay his wages. Turkey seems like the obvious destination.

One player people forgot about is Ansu Fati. His lack of availability basically makes him somewhat useless in the current squad, especially if Rashford arrives. Not anything against him, but the space his wages occupy could be in better use with someone else. Flick has made his case clear.

First victory for Valencia since the sacking of Baraja. Would be probably meaningless under any other circumstances, but the boys have never needed a victory more.

Coaching decisions are odd — we know that we don't know as much as they do. But the anxiety, perhaps what they see differently lead to different decisions, often illogical to the naked eye. This is how I've felt about McAtee—and the lack of playing time. Was today the start...of a new chapter?

Leaving my parents' home. Been inactive as I had to take care of my stepfather, who's having the MND — the same Illness Stephen Hawking was a victim of. Difficult situation given other challenges, but by tomorrow will be back in town (Madrid).

Relying on your attackers gives you that. Several players underperforming, and suddenly you're fucked. Going to be interesting to see how Flick tries to solve it. For now, it's not looking well — far from it!

History was made today. Unfortunately for Barça, they're on the losing end as Léganes defeated them for the first time, ever. They defended well, although not much better than any mid-block in La Liga. Barcelona are at risk on the long-term, due to to a systematic failure.

Juventus winning 2-0 vs ManC, Barça winning 3-2 away, we definitely live in an interesting world. Griezmann and Alvarez are the new killer combo, and Lamine Yamal can't stop feeding the entire team.

One of the worst behaviours amid the fanbase is looking at an exception and saying „ but it wouldn't work against Bayern“. It's a logical fallacy called the Straight Line Instinct, which assumed development will remain the same until forever. It won't, because every game is different.

Gavi-Pedri partnership seemed problematic, although it's likely to be because of the absence of Casadó. Las Palmas could easily send balls in behind without much sophistication.

According to Relevo, Javier Tebas sent a letter of complaint to Real Madrid about Vinicius, but for a different reason than you'd expect. Vinicius shared a story about the game at Anfield, where TNT's logo can be seen. He mentioned that this is piracy. It drives me crazy, as it wasn't La Liga.

Mallorca's 3-2 win against Valencia tonight demonstrates that Valencia is suffering mentally too. Sure, you can talk tactics, but it's not the first time they concede a comeback in the last quarter of the game. It's the 5th or the 6th. Most of these were before DANA. Worrying.

Not sure why Lionel Messi has been nominated for the Year's Best Player. Harms his legacy more than anything. He doesn't want it, and probably a majority of the world doesn't want that either.

Countering Getafe isn't as hard as it sounds. As often as we've talked about their frustrating strategies, we often talk about curation instead of prevention. Tactical prep is about forcing opponents out of their prep, like in chess. Give Getafe the ball —they're completely clueless with it.
