The 4-3 is a magical system if you have the right DC. Washington is blitz heavy compared to Flus. That difference was easily busted up by a veteran, top 3 play caller in Shanahan. I'm not saying Wash isn't a potentially good DC, but that defense yesterday felt like it wasn't ready. At all. #Bears

There is no shortage of criticism for Bears franchise, but the one on my mind the most is this: Chicago has sometimes tried to be the smartest team in the room, rather than taking the obvious choice: Trubisky over Watson Trestman over Arians McClellin over Jones/Anyone really Obvious can be good!

Thomas Brown has been a breath of fresh air for this offense over the last three games. Caleb Williams has looked like an MVP candidate (I will die on this hill) in that same span. If Thomas Brown continues this line of success through the end of the year, he has to be the favorite for the job.

It’s overdue, but after never firing a coach midseason, late is better than never. Matt Eberflus always seemed like a good guy. Prototypical nice guy. Preaches effort. Hard nosed kind of football guy. But the results only came against lesser competition. And this roster deserves better.
