Some symmetry from a boat ride last year. The wake of the boat mirroring the clouds over the mountains. I have been thinking about a project around d this for several years and o my now having some images that are starting to allow it to take shape.

Black and white image of the wake of a boat, reminiscent of a hill and the sky.

Some found still life while on a walk in Newfoundland #foundstilllife #smallscene #landscapephotography #intimatelandscape

A black and white image looking down on the ground, with some brush on the right and side and a separate single small flower on the left. The brush and the flower are brighter against the dark grasses.

Some different takes on a foggy boat ride in Newfoundland last summer. #landscapephotography #newfoundland #newfoundlandandlabrador

“Hidden Levels” Just reworked this image for print to hang for a camera club show at the local library. One of my favorites made over the past few years at Sloss Furnaces. One of this times where the rain delivered some unique conditions. #slossfurnaces #blackandwhitephotography #nightphotography

Black and white image of an interior of an industrial building. Some machines and stairs are in the background. A puddle on the floor reflects some of the upstairs and the stairs to provide a leading line into the image.

A little different type of image for me. Spent some of the end of 2025 working though some things and it was reflected in the types of images in found myself making. Experimenting with softer, “fuzzy” scenes. #lensbaby #lensbabysoftfocus

A black and white close up image of a water drop on a leaf, with a soft focus and glow.

Some pond grasses from the summer #photography #landscapephotography #pondscape #smallscenes #intimatelandscape

Grasses on a pond with a smooth background

Water rippling around a pair of grass stalks like antennae and reflected in the water.

Black and white photo is a set of grasses and their reflection.

I like to experiment with some of the Lensbaby lineup, and some some people tagging images but no feed. I created a Lensbaby Stream and this is a post of some older images of some flowers with the Sol45 as a first test. #lensbaby #lensbabysol45 #blackandwhitephotography

Two pairs of images that seem to complement each other from a few days of reflection while on #monheganisland up in Maine. I was supposed to be working through a mini project on the workshop but photographically I was at a bit of a block. The project was really me.

I haven’t edited a lot of images from last year. Work sort of took over. Here are a few from the old Catskill Game farm on a workshop. #catskillgamefarm #oldgamefarm #nightphotography #abandonedplaces

I happened to be in this Lightroom folder the other day, so I thought I would post a few favorite architectural images I made while on a trip to Basel and Berlin a few years ago. #architecture #architecturalphotography #blackandwhitephotography #bnwphotography

One of the reasons I came to Bluesky was to escape the IG algorithms and explore new photographers. I haven’t figured out how I want to post but thought I should share some images. Here is a small set from a trip to the Smokies last year.
