We are all being pushed to the bottom while a few hundred people or so live in luxury and make all the decisions for the rest of us. So, even if you don't have the strength to push back against a world that doesn't care about you and or the rest of us, you can still fight back with simple kindness.

We don't have to agree on the same things or even like each other to treat each other with respect and basic human decency. We've gotten so turned are that you have people that vote or take actions against their own interest because they don't want others to have what they didn't.

That's totally fair. Modern technology causes its own problems with writing fantasy. It makes it so tempting to set everything in the 90s where we still have most of the same type technology but everyone didn't have a camera 😅
