I'd really like to move away from some of the same-y silliness. Distractions, blatant cheating in front of the unseeing ref and so on. Not that you can't have those things, but if you use them SPARINGLY, they mean more. I'd like a modicum of seriousness dropped in amongst the silliness

I think you're crashing out a little too much on the backstage stuff. Thats not an American thing, every promotion around the world does it.

I recently shared a prompt with my followers on Twitter and figured it'd be worth sharing here as well. Please tell me what significant changes you’d like to see from weekly American wrestling TV. You can DM me, too. I’d like to collect the responses and write a piece on the blog

NEW on the Blog: I'm pondering Anthony Bowens's immediate future after yesterday's contract report from Fightful. Should he try to jump ship to WWE? What can he do in AEW? What about other promotions, like MLP? I examine it all here: jcup2013.blogspot.com/2026/09/thou...

It's time for Part II of my #DEEPDIVE series examining every WWE-to-AEW jump! Part II focuses on two individuals who debuted at DoN 019: Mr. Ass and The Chairman. Part 2.5 will be entirely devoted to Jon Moxley and should be up on Friday. Enjoy! jcup2013.blogspot.com/2026/08/exam...

Introducing my #DEEPDIVE into every WWE-to-AEW jump thus far, starting from the beginning - before the beginning. Let's take a look at the signings of PAC, Jericho, & Dustin Rhodes, who signed prior to the inaugural AEW event, Double or Nothing: jcup2013.blogspot.com/2026/08/exam...

I'm going to do a #DEEPDIVE on the blog. I'm going to look at EVERY WWE-to-AEW signing and examine their runs. What was their standing before jumping? What was TK's motivation in bringing them in? What did they contribute, and was it good or bad for AEW? Part 1...is today!

“A lot of wrestlers are fucking dumb” can sum up most past, present, and future issues. Not advocating for a union, just for the wrestlers to know their worth when negotiating with executives making money hand over fist.
