It's confirmed, the credits are a consolation price for reducing your usage limits by 50%. SI seems more expensive than AI 😂

Ta-da! Is this because now my €200/month plan provides the same value as the €20/month was providing until yesterday? I need to make good use of them.

The first app I build with my 8 years old son today hit the App Store. It’s an app to learn new languages, build for kids by a kid. It’s fun, and they can learn vocabulary and conversations they can use with other kids. apps.apple.com/us/app/ling...

That note can become: • An internal update • A promotion artifact • A blog post • A talk • A decision record • A reusable team pattern Visibility compounds when you turn work into learning.

If every hard decision still ends with you, you haven’t built autonomy. You’ve built a queue.

• Explain the problem • Explain why it mattered • Share what you changed • Name the tradeoffs • Show the result • Credit the people involved • Write down what others can learn Bad visibility says: “Look at me.” Good visibility says: “Here’s what changed, why it mattered, and what we learned.”

The strongest engineers are not always the fastest coders. They are the ones who make the fewest expensive decisions.

AI can make you faster. It can also make you passive. Don’t outsource the parts that build judgment: • Understanding the problem • Thinking through tradeoffs • Reviewing carefully • Learning from mistakes • Explaining your decisions Use AI to increase leverage. Not to avoid thinking.

A team can spend three years working around a bad technical decision to avoid a three-month rewrite. The rewrite has a project plan, a deadline, and an estimate. The workaround is paid off quietly: one exception, one incident, a slower change at a time.

Some work disappears the moment it ships. Some work keeps creating value. Aim for the second kind.

Want to become known for good judgment? Good judgment is not magic. It’s the habit of making thinking visible before, during, and after the decision.

I’ve never seen a developer burn out from “too much coding.” I’ve seen them burn out from: • unclear priorities • constant interruptions • politics Protecting focus isn’t selfish. It’s survival. What drains you more: code complexity or context chaos?

Building what you’re told to build is good. But it’s rarely enough to become truly valuable. Here’s a simple playbook: 👇

I'm teaching my 8 years old how to code with ChatGPT, and in return he's teaching me German. It's a lot more fun than learning with Duolingo for sure 😂

Building it is not enough, here’s a simple playbook to make yourself more valuable: • Propose a new initiative • Implement it • Write a blog post about how you did it • Speak about it at a conference or meetup Do this a few times, and you’ll see your reputation skyrocket 🚀

I haven't read or written any code in almost two weeks now, and it has nothing to do with AI.

You don’t need to be the loudest engineer in the room to build influence. But you do need to make your thinking visible.

The best interview question is not "Can they solve this puzzle?" It is "How do they think when the answer is not obvious?" Look for:

After every meaningful project, write a short note: • What problem did we solve? • Why did it matter? • What options did we consider? • What tradeoffs did we make? • What changed because of the work? • What should we remember next time? Visibility compounds when you turn work into learning.

Ownership does not mean doing everything yourself. It means making sure the important thing does not get dropped. That includes: • Clarifying the goal • Finding the gaps • Pulling in the right people • Communicating progress • Managing risks • Following through • Learning from the outcome

Want to become known for good judgment? Do this consistently: • Explain the tradeoffs • Separate reversible from irreversible decisions • Ask what problem you are really solving • Document why a decision was made • Revisit the decision when reality changes Good judgment is not magic.

• A better onboarding guide • A reusable tool • A design doc others learn from • A migration plan that becomes a template • A postmortem document • A talk that helps others avoid your mistakes The best career asset is not just output. It’s work that keeps working after you move on.

If the first dev-tool evaluation happens inside an AI assistant, docs and SDK ergonomics become distribution. The agent may build the shortlist before anyone visits your site, so the product has to be legible in code, examples, errors, limits, and tradeoffs.

My kindle is officially dead! I love my kindle, I think it's the oldest device I own, being almost 10 years old now, the plastic was already sticky, probably not that healthy to touch, but it was still working amazingly! But this weekend took a fall, and now it's gone! Good bye old friend!

At this point, he probably knows more already about running linux, terminal commands, and LLMs than a lot of full time devs 🤣. He's living the life! Kudos to him! It’s honestly inspiring — proof that curiosity + consistency > credentials.

That small moment of frictionless capture is what keeps ideas alive for me. It doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. It just has to work, and Apple Notes does. 👉 What’s that one “simple” tool in your stack that just works for you, even if it’s not perfect?

OpenAI just rolled out something that might quietly reshape how we build with AI, not just how we chat with it. It’s called Workflows (also known as AgentKit), and it’s essentially a toolkit for creating agents that can think, act, and connect to your world.

Each step feels small. Almost invisible. But over months and years, those steps stack. That’s how careers are built. I’ve never had a “big break” in my journey. What I’ve had is thousands of tiny improvements that compounded over time. 💡 **The secret isn’t speed, it’s consistency.**

The ultimate goal of DevRel isn’t content, conferences, or swag. It’s simple: 👉 Help developers succeed. If they get to “hello world” fast, find answers when stuck, and feel heard when giving feedback. Adoption follows. Everything else is just a tool to get there.
