Ideological pollination of the major parties is a better description for their strategy. I think multiple strategies can be adopted simultaneously. It’s not bad to fight crony establishment from diverse angles. However, everybody needs to support basics — like enacting RCV with instant runoff.

True Populism requires good intentions for the people alongside upmost sincerity & honesty about a genuinely pervasive elite. Demagoguery (or pseudo-populism) is never good, even if eco-political; it is prevalent in authoritarianism. Eco-politics & Populism are vast, especially when combined.

Long before 2015! LaRouchites started initially under a variant of Marxism (façade), and then reversed. LaRouche might have been correct about one thing: America turning to fascism. Ironically, he did so too. I rarely see any LaRouchites in leftist groups I encounter, but I will keep a look out.

I think @progressforus.org will only happen in a Ranked Choice (Instant Runoff) Voting System. For party to really grow, it should work or even have affiliates with the progressive parties already in WA, OR, & VT. Greens have worked with Peace & Freedom, so they’d happily work with Progressive.
