DOJ demanded voter files from all 50 states. DOJ sued 31 states for refusing their demand. My law firm intervened to protect voters in those cases. DOJ is now 0-5. My firm is 5-0. Lesson: When we fight we win.

Ahmed was a well-read, thoughtful man. He had an hilariously dry sense of humor. He’d start a story; most of the family didn’t get it or didn’t care. Often, it was hard to tell if he was relating an interesting historic blurb, or if it was a slow build-up to a really funny (though subtle) joke.

I’m 1/4 Persian. My uncle (in-law) met my aunt at Berkeley. Married. Lived in Tehran until Revolution (he was an economist in the Agriculture Ministry FFS). My uncle Ahmed was the most well-read, thoughtful man. He also had an hilariously dry sense of humor.
