It was such a volatile game, lots of runners left on base (combined Team LOB: 21) and of course the Roof Cable Incident. The 3-2 score doesn't tell half the story. But it's good the Brewers got the first one in the books!

Timely wisdom here for keeping phones in pockets and enjoying the show. Wish I could see Rush on this tour!
"This is Rush’s first tour in more than a decade. In Nilles, they found a drummer worthy of the legacy of the late Neil Peart, who died in January 2020 after a 3½-year fight with brain cancer. She absolutely crushed every song, and I focused on how seamlessly she interacted with Lee and Lifeson.

Throughout the show, the three of them shared smiles. They were having fun, and everyone paying attention fed off the positive energy. I don’t need blurry photos on my phone to retain memories of that. My mind’s eye caught it all."

The 9/11 ceremony in downtown Dover (NH) earlier today, centered on the unveiling of a new 9/11 memorial
People listen to a speaker at a ceremony commemorating the September 11 attacks, including the unveiling of a new memorial, in Cacheco Mill Courtyard along Central Ave. in downtown Dover, NH. A large American flag hangs from the projecting ladder of a fire ladder truck. The flag serves as the backdrop for the memorial, which consists of four black granite slabs in a line, representing the four locations involved in the attacks (from left to right), the Pentagon, each World Trade Center tower, and Shanksville, PA. Above them is a blue sky. The large crowd sits in the foreground left, and next to them are police officers and firefighters in uniform, standing at attention. In the background left is a color guard. The other side of the new Dover, NH, 9/11 memorial, as seen from across Central Ave, with silhouettes representing and commemorating police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and soldiers. Excerpt from US House history page: "The legislation expanded the interstates to 41,000 miles and authorized $25 billion that would be disbursed between 1957 and 1969 for construction.
