Jubilee FINALLY in a fighting game!!! I'm so geeked

Jesse Faden we miss you so bad

010

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

there's some specific spoilery story stuff that adds worth to giving both siblings their own games but even as someone that enjoyed Resonant a lot, I found Jesse's story especially as the Director so fascinating and I wanted so much more of that first 😭 its just a bit too stark of a switch up

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

there's some really gnarly story stuff later on that happens elsewhere thankfully but the whole game/story needed like 10x more Jesse

Cyclops fans stay winning

010

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

he's magnificent. I can't believe it's been 25 years since Cyclops was last in a fighting game. That is so ridiculous.

best $15 I've spent in a minute

I will singlehandedly make Bayonetta 4 a reality. Watch this space!

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

ahhhhhh Blade is so fun, some of those trials are brutal tho. Danger's made me wanna rip my hair out a couple times

010

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

can attest to the new Yōtei stuff being really great but could never discourage anybody from spending more time on MG

110

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

the new Hellraiser looks so cool, you'll have to tell me your thoughts on it when you play 😄 to my own surprise I don't think I've ever heard of that game before omg

010

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I've realized I want literally every action game that I like to have some sort of optional roguelike mode and I'm loving how many games have been doing them. I am very much the demographic for them. Yōtei's Most Wanted mode is AWESOME.

haiiiiiiii what's everybody been playing lately I'm back on Ghost of Yōtei cuz of all the new DLC 👹

that is EXACTLY how it feels 😭 there's definitely a lot of meat to the story and plenty to keep people talking but Jesse is barely in this game and so much of her role is left almost entirely in the dark, to the point of feeling veryyyyy intentional

010

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Dylan was an excellent, deeply sympathetic protagonist. I'm really glad Resonant gave us so much time with him + showcased so many perspectives on him and his past. that said, Jesse was criminally underutilized and needs to be a playable protagonist again. I miss her so bad 😭

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

finished Control Resonant and thought it was awesome! I ultimately prefer the first game's tighter gameplay loop and scope but this is a very worthy sequel that often blew my mind. It does however feel like it was made with the intention of a third game NEEDING to happen someday. Like... it HAS to.

Control Resonant hype starts NEOW

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

it was really fun! I loved the characters and all the bloodshed. It's like, hilariously gory

have collapsed countless times across my playthrough

I'm about to start docking points for making him so distractingly sexy like this is ridiculous

130

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

you should, it's a very fun time

010

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

he NEVER should have said this movie could be taking place alongside RE2 tho. That set so many wrong expectations for what this would actually be. It is very much its own thing until it forces itself to mention Raccoon City or Umbrella and then continue on being it's own thing.

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I found Cregger's Resident Evil to be pretty great for the most part, with an excellent lead, gorgeous visuals and some GNARLYYYY monsters, but with an ending that just sorta misses the mark completely as an RE adaptation. It's great to see an RE movie be so generally well received tho!

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

no direct spoilers of course but . . . I didn't need Bryan shooting something with a rocket launcher and flying away on a helicopter into the sunset but that feeling of relief + accomplishment that comes with finishing the vast majority of RE games just isn't there at all. It's the exact opposite.

020

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

read your whole thread and it pretty much perfectly expresses my thoughts. Great horror movie, lots to love, but the ties to Resident Evil as a franchise feel superficial at best and the (very not good) ending completely disregards one of RE's most important traits and cheapens it a bit.

trying to get through Marvel's Wolverine but I keep getting distracted by Logan's butt. This isn't a joke, it's actually distracting me 😭

really can't be overstated how amazing this cast is, from the characterizations to the performances. Genuinely perfect

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Link looks 2 years old in that remake like why is he going on quests and saving the world when he should be at the daycare sipping on some apple juice

April is always such a brutal month for me so it's a bit comforting to know I'll get to waste the majority of it away with FF7 Revelation

110

Jesse @jbootyful.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Onimusha straight into Wolverine and then I'll prolly pick Control and GTA6 up before this year wraps up. Crazy! so much to play! also about to start replaying Peace Walker! the MGS4 port is fantastic btw. Crazy how a game like this can feel/look remastered by simply moving it to superior hardware.
