Went to bed late last night. First thing this morning I checked to see who won the Carleton riding. The Conservatives lost and even better, Maple MAGA Pierre Poilievre lost his riding. We made a stand, we don't want a Trump style far right fascist government in Canada.

Growing up gay in an extremely Catholic home was a very painful part of my life. As an adult, I felt completely abandoned by my faith and God. Pope Francis gave me hope, he made me feel accepted, valued, someone that mattered. Thank you Pope Francis.
