My daughter keeps making houses for our cat. She has upped her game to a tent. She's also started leaving little "offerings" for him, like feathers and pom poms. In exchange, Fenris guards her room when she's not home, and generally seems annoyed if anyone else talks to her.

My nine year old daughter told me her rocks wanted me to babysit their kids. This is Heavy Gary Jr. and Skull. They're having raspberry for breakfast because I was told they like fresh fruit. That red ball is their "stress pom pom" for if they get bored. 100% would babysit again.

I am attempting to write 2 books at once. One in my current series (Blood Trails) and one in the New Series. Outlines are complete and I started writing yesterday. Goal is 1 chapter of each per day for the first draft. Yesterday was a success despite my workday being shot to Hell. Wish me luck!

The rags I use to clean up my rocks and tumblers are absolutely filthy, and I can't just chuck them in the wash because the grit will turn to cement in the pipes. I think today I'm going to buy a salad spinner and use it to clean the washcloths...
