These are 31 yrs old. I got to hang in guitar world during sound check in Winnipeg in 1994? Ish. Keith was about 4 feet away when he picked up his guitar. We thought they were old rockers then!

These geese crowd the riverbank every spring. If you’re still they will mostly leave you alone but if you spook them they are vicious. With a 4 or 5 foot wingspan and a 3 foot long neck they intimidate anyone who gets too close.

At #rocklazerscissors place last summer. This fellow picks through them giving them a shake to make sure they have 2 peanuts inside then flies off with full ones, hiding them in the trees and returning for more.

Revolutionary in my life. I was in high school and played the shit out of this. Up until then it was Dark Side of the Moon. In 1994 I got to work on a show in Edmonton Alberta and they didn’t disappoint!t

It may melt next week but it is definitely turning to winter here. Time to get my winter bike prepped and dig out some warmer clothes! I remember fighting bitter winds and a couple feet of snow to attend remembrance day services not that long so this isn’t exceptional or surprising.

So not only do we have too short of a season to do photos outside this far north all the pests want to come in when it starts freezing at night. My tents are in the garage so not really a closed space. Warm but easy for bugs to get into. 🙁

I don’t cover mine if they don’t wilt.I use solo cups with sunshine #4 and distilled water.Ziploc bags upside down with a puff of my breath and a little spritz inside the baggie if they do.I try to let the soil dry out from initial wetting until just damp.Usually transplant after 10 to 15 days.

Seven years ago we visited Karl Marx’s grave at Highgate Cemetery where we were visited by a black cat and then went to see Caro Emerald at Royal Albert Hall. Best Halloween Ever!!!

Karl Marx was born in 1818 and died in 1883.

We have tamaracks which are the only conifer to shed all their needles in fall.

Even as a Canadian I’m grateful for your father’s service. I’m happy he got to return. This is my Grandfather’s grave in Germany. Killed by fascists, leaving 9 and 11 yr old boys on a farm in Northern Ontario and a widow who had plead with him not to volunteer. I am antifa.

My Grandfather as well. He as a navigator in Halifax bomber in the RCAF but he never came back. My dad was 9.
