I did some more tinkering and I feel like this might be the final cover for the fantasy book. I'm waffling on the crown though. The angle of the old one was superior, and the more ornate design fit with the story. I'm also including my dedication, which is all of two sentences.

Went to the Pittsburgh book fest today, not planning to spend any money. What a silly notion. I passed a big tent on my way in, and 3 sci-fi authors were giving a talk. I loved listening, then bought all 3 of their books and had them signed!

I paid for some marketing for this book and so far it has resulted in 0 sales. Got listed on Reedsy discovery, got put into the SFWA new release newsletter and sprung for an interview. Granted it's been less than a week with both, but the needle ain't movin'. Will 100% do NetGalley again though.
