Trans folks spend years in therapy before a doctor will agree to even start hormone treatment. I have a friend that has a kid that went through 6 years of therapy before the docs would do anything to help him transition. He was an adult before the doctors allowed him to live as his authentic self.

I have a 2 yo Belgian Malinois mix. He has natural moves that would make for a perfect K-9 officer. He has the instinct to protect me without training. When he senses (what he thinks) is danger, he will run & stayed glued to me wherever I am until he knows it’s safe again. He’s also a great cuddler!
