my apartment doorman adds me on fb and i accept bc he’s a nice guy. so he messages me smth like “hey thanks for adding me haha” and i say “hey np!”. then he sends me “happy chinese valentines day” and that caught me so off guard bc ive never even heard of this holiday and idk what to make of this 😭

shorebird festival from the other day 🪿 i thought one of the tour leaders was just Some Local Guy Who Knows His Birds, but no, he's a professional photographer, author of multiple books, and biologist who studied in the arctic for 4 yrs 😭

going on a solo trip to another city for my short break from work. i will be sightseeing, but honestly, i am equally as excited for the train ride and bumming out in my hotel room playing games and watching anime. it just hits different when i do it somewhere other than home 😩

one thing i made consistently when i was living alone was granola bc it was so easy to make while being so very delicious. and so much more cost effective than buying it

went on my 2nd ever group birding event which was very relaxing! this group was a bit less intimidating than the last so it was a bit easier to socialize 😭

sometimes i want to make a separate account dedicated to Twice and kpop so i can scream a little more about them, but then toxic fanwars sneak onto my timeline and i'm like, hm. maybe not what is the point of bashing other idols when you can just enjoy your own favs.......

a personal trainer pulled me aside for a 5min core assessment (i couldnt say no, what’s new). and what a grueling 5 min that was… my core isnt even sore, but my hip flexors are, so walking is literally a pain 😭 a sign i should sign up for training but expensive and im lazy

birding's all fun and games until you want to buy a camera but wildlife cameras are one of the most expensive cameras to get 🙂 luckily i am not going for professional-grade photos. still looking like i'll have to spend a few hundred dollars......
