video buffering is supposed to help for hiccups. otherwise you could try lowing bitrate a bit

011

Jazzputin @jazzputin.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

turn off spacewarp i think it usually looks really bad. turning on video buffering might help some of the lag

Jazzputin @jazzputin.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

hevc 10 bit at 200mbps is the best compromise of quality vs latency when you dont have a dedicated router

I'm like all might but for the soundcloud feed

030

Jazzputin @jazzputin.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Tip for anyone who's a soundcloud feed power user like me, the 2025.10.10 build of the soundcloud app is the final release to give you the option to keep the old feed (faster and easier to scroll thru). Just install the old apk if you have an android and turn off the new feed in the settings

Nice! I love collecting iems. The strength of the op22 is that it's bass sounds fast tight and detailed instead of boomy, so when you boost it with EQ you get enveloped by high definition bass

Jazzputin @jazzputin.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

here is what the eq profile looks like visualized. oh also you need a pregain of -5.9 so it doesnt clip (select in top of peace eq). this iem sounds great after eq, really detailed and tight bass, good soundstage, etc

EQ profile (all peak filters except the low shelf filter at 200hz). I am using PEACE gui Equalizer APO to EQ, it's a system wide eq (you can select the source it affects). For VR you can set the EQ to affect Virtual Desktop Audio.

IEM review: the OoopusX op.22 ($35) I've been looking for a budget pair of iems to reccomend people since my faves are discontinued. It comes with a bass switch, but sounds best with the bass switch off and bass added in EQ (EQ in reply) great detail and tight bass, but needs EQ to really shine

rekordbox is industry standard if you want to be able to easily get used to the CDJs that are standard in clubs. virtualdj is much more customizable and can make djing easier, but better suited for bedroom djing (or bringing your laptop and controller with you to a show)

Jazzputin @jazzputin.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

how nice are we talkin? ddj-grv6 is the newest 4 channel from pioneer/alphatheta. or you could get an all in one with a screen built in like xdj-az. for beginners a nice pioneer 2 channel is the flx4. or u could use virtualdj instead of rekordbox and get a numark mixtrack pro fx or platinum fx
