lol that’s a fucking lie. Take schools for instance, the same way teacher’s are asked to respect trans students pronouns they’re also asked to respect student’s religions. Or how about religious exemptions for discrimination? Religious bakeries are allowed to deny LGBT customers. Quit fucking lying

ok so then religion shouldn’t be a protected status because you’re not born into religion, it’s a choice.

logic doesn’t suddenly cease to function in other applications. Truth is universal, precedent is universal.

and the only reason that bill failed is because the 2025 legislative session ended and they never got to a vote. It had 8 sponsors (that’s quite a few). It’ll be back sometime again this session

notice how you’re not even replying to anything I’m saying and you’re sort of just having your own conversation with yourself? Try to actually justify trans people potentially facing prison time for just being themselves. They already tried making “gender identity fraud” a crime in Texas

jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 16/01/2026
if trans people aren’t so much as a suspect class states could literally criminalize being transgender. That’s not sane or reasonable but it’s something legislators in the state of texas already tried

jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 16/01/2026
transgender people are suspect/quasi-suspect class. A ruling in the negative (which is the most expected outcome) would essentially mean the justices believe the constitution places nearly no limits on laws that restrict or criminalize on the basis off transgender status. (2/2)

jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 16/01/2026
I don’t think you understand how the legal process works. When the supreme court hands down a ruling it doesn’t narrowly apply to only that case at hand, it sets far-reaching precedents that affect every aspect of people’s lives. The court is widely expected to rule in the near future whether (1/2)

he can’t help himself because he legitimately hates trans people that much. Gloating about trans people losing their rights is one of his favorite subjects

Jesse is once again being disingenuous, he knows the precedent set in Bostock already decided that discrimination against trans people is sex discrimination. You can't determine that someone is transgender without determining their sex. Therefore transgender status is a sex based classification
150
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 14/01/2026
I was also unaware that every sex discrimination case up to this point has included with it the plaintiffs definition of sex? Can you go ahead and show me the plethora of examples that would show that’s a normal thing to even ask for? (you cant) it’s almost like Bostock already set that precedent

i’m sure you’re absolutely ecstatic about the possibility of being cited in the upcoming SCOTUS case that will likely decide trans people aren’t so much as a quasi-suspect class and greenlight states writing laws that literally criminalize transgender status. All your hard work coming to fruition

and generally kids are able to receive literally any other healthcare with parental approval but when it comes to this: no no no you can’t do that!

jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
Um no i don’t. That’s not the point yall ever make. You’re just shifting the goalposts

jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
that’s the premise of the argument tho, the argument is that those under a certain age are incapable of making informed decision. Why should it matter how spurious a decision is if they’re incapable of making it?
120
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
because the point isn’t to make trans healthcare safer like Jesse claims, it’s to question existing healthcare until it doesn’t exist entirely. If Jesse truly cared about trans people he’d have suggestions rather than purely criticisms
120
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
Jesse has never laid forward a system of trans healthcare that he would actually agree to and be ok with. He just uses that as cover. In reality, Jesse will never be done “asking questions” and casting doubt on trans healthcare.
110
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
Because every article Jesse has ever written is in direct opposition to trans healthcare. It’s far more likely Jesse platforms people like that because he agrees than some fantasy world where he magically draws the line

It is when you never push back. If i have a nazi on my podcast and just stay silent the whole time, i might not be agreeing with them, but im also not vocally disagreeing with them. At best: i tolerate them; at worst: i agree.

I think that because of the nature of who you are, you’re incapable of caring about the consequences that could come to the trans people you write about. To you it’s a bonus

Is that supposed to make you look good? I doubt you’re very involved at all. I really doubt you give a flying fuck to verify any part of your story or make sure that it doesn’t cause someone pain or issues. That’s kinda the point of what you do: causing trans people pain.
130
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
Can you show me an example of Jesse disagreeing with that? He’s part of a larger cause that pushes that as an end goal. He has not once disavowed said goal. He stands shoulder to shoulder with people saying that without any pushback. That’s enough to at least be complicit if not in total agreement
120
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
which is why Jesse would prefer to argue about *who* i’m leveling my arguments at rather than the actual substance of those arguments. Prime example of a coward and a hypocrite.
130
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
Jesse and his sycophants have, for years, pushed a narrative that trans kids are unfit to make decisions for themselves. Going so far to say that people under 25 shouldn’t make such decisions because “their brain isn’t fully developed”. But those same people are more than happy to exploit under 25’s

This is what you call a strawman, i’m leveling my arguments at Jesse specifically, not the atlantic. I never even mentioned the atlantic. Shocking that Jesse doesn’t understand basic logic (not really that shocking actually)

100 million dollars says he doesn’t respond because Jesse only selectively responds to comments he knows he can twist—he’s like charlie kirk in that way. He distorts reality, facts, and science to fit his narrative.

“the brain doesn’t stop developing until 25 so kids shouldn’t make big decisions before then” isn’t that what you disingenuous hypocrites are always saying?
200
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
so you had them sign a waiver before their “before their brain was done developing”? What a hypocrite.
150
jazzcabbbage.bsky.social @jazzcabbbage.bsky.social · 03/10/2025
there’s no downside to him lying because his readers don’t give a flying fuck about facts. They’ve decided the outcome they want in advance and twist science and facts to meet that end.

lol yall can’t understand your own logic😭 they’re not mature enough to make medical decisions (with the guidance of doctors and their parents approval) but they’re definitely mature enough to sign a waiver outing themselves to the whole country. Hypocrites

you’ve just gone full mask off transphobe now? You used to pretend that you didn’t take a side and were just reporting facts and now you’re pretty clearly stating you believe in only one side of the debate. That’s been obvious from the very beginning but it’s nice to see you not pretending anymore
