While I was at Anime NYC the NU: Carnival team finally revealed the details of their collaboration with Japanese boys love publisher, Nitro Chiral, and y'all it's Dramatical Murder! Yes, y'all read that right, the NU: Carnival x Dramatical Murder Collab is happening! Originally released in Japan in 2012, Dramatical Murder is arguably the single most iconic boys love series ever, and to see Aoba and his harem of problematic baes in something new in 2026 is EVERYTHING I could have dreamed.

If you have been eagerly awaiting the release of the dark fantasy romance, Touchstarved, I am happy to say our wait is almost at an end! Red Spring Studio announced that the team is targeting a tentative Spring 2027 release for the full game. Initially announced back in 2022, Touchstarved gives players the chance to explore an enigmatic city and find a cure for their curse by entrusting your fate to 5 love interests, each uniquely monstrous in their own way. To bring the project to life, the team launched a Kickstarter campaign Spring 2023, and not only did they reach their funding goal in just 5 hours, but the team secured funding of over $800,000 USD!

Love and Deepspace has been dominating the mobile otome market since it launched in 2024. Few otome games have had the community in a chokehold the way LADS has, and I don't really see it being dethroned anytime soon (especially after the hype around the newest love interest, Valko). But, for folks looking for another mobile otome to sink their teeth into, the popular Chinese gacha game, Light and Night has an official English localization (granted it's only available via the SEA server)! I recently had the chance to check out the game and let's say I have some thoughts!

Otome Lovers we have some exciting news from Idea Factory Intl! The publisher announced that they are releasing the rom-com otome, Cupid Parasite on Steam in 2026! Originally released on Nintendo Switch™, this romantic comedy will be Idea Factory International's first otome release on Steam since 2018. Fans can wishlist the game on Steam today. Alongside the announcement, fans can watch the new Announcement Trailer featuring the five love interests known as the Parasite 5.
