Fancy ones are expensive. If you just want perfect rice every time, the Aroma 4-cup 2 qt model works very well. Just $36 on AMZN. ARC-914SBD. As others have said, it is not hard to make rice on the stovetop, but I do love the convenience of just set it and forget it. Money well spent, IMO.
