It's the fact that I can't tell if some people already put up their Christmas lights or if they never took them down to begin with that scares me

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Also about your "spiralling" due to that comment It's proven that you'd need 10 positives to cancel out the effect of 1 negative (afaik), so I wouldn't view the spiralling like a personal flaw and more like smth completely human Sorry if I'm overstepping/assuming too much, if so I apologize 😔

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Understandable if you feel like that imo but here's just a couple of my own thoughts: - the fact that you want to improve after reading that comment is great - please don't forget that these interactions only show a small percentage of who you really are, one "bad" moment doesn't mean you're "bad"

Ok but... can you blame me for getting her? I had to!!!

040

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

So... probably not gonna buy any more 1/4 scale figures since I may have slightly underestimated how big that thing actually is that bitch is heavy lol

Work done! Hit that flow state during the last hour of my shift that can be a lifesaver since one wrong action makes the difference between me getting to leave on time or having to call the police/ambulance cause an 8 year old is losing it :3 (no, I'm not exaggerating... sadly) No work tomorrow 😌

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I'm currently waiting on 4 figures (2 big ones so 3 packages) I'm already counting them as my October haul and I don't even wanna check my bank account 🙂 Customs for my last package couple of weeks ago hurt 🥲

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Oh good For a sec I thought you'd spent A LOT of money... 🙂

Work done! Felt slightly less shitty today so not as bad as yesterday but still... at least all of my coworkers seem to be in the same boat currently 😷 Next shift on Thursday so hopefully I can get through the worst of this cold by then :3

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Made it with 1:30 minutes to spare 😮‍💨 The annoying part is I had no time to buy smth to drink/eat + the running has made my headache even worse now 🫠

010

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Work done! Well, today sucked lol (mostly from me being ill and my sinuses killing me) And of course my first train is delayed by 15 minutes so now it's a gamble if I can make my connection or have to wait for an hour at the station 💀

130

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Sinuses have been clogged up since yesterday, head feels foggy, asthma is also acting up slightly 🤧 Todays and tomorrows shift are gonna be a pain in the ass 🫠

Finished Well Dweller Took me 10 hours for 100% Incredibly charming game, great designs/art style. Good difficulty curve, hit the sweet spot by being challenging but nothing crazy imo (you're pretty op by the end if you explore) Definitely check it out if you like Metroidvanias!

Reality: People are fucking dumb Wishful thinking: Some "double agent" in management is trying to get those people as much money as possible by screwing over the company Sadly it's usually the 1st one...

010

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I'm so sorry to hear that. Hoping for the best, sending you and your mother lots of love 🫂 Happened to my grandma a couple of years ago out of nowhere, took some time but she managed to make a full recovery so hoping the same for your mother 🙏

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I've spent SO MUCH money on figures this month... You know you're fucked when you look up the conversation rate for yen and ask yourself at first "oh, why didn't it conver.... FUCK" 💀

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

12 hour shift done! Wondering once again why I chose this job 💀 At least I can sleep in a bit tomorrow before my shift starts

050

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Anyways... Work done! Next shift is on Wednesday. Schedule is kinda fucked this week but it is what it is... At least I get to sleep in tomorrow :3

Conversation at work today: 10 year old talks about how some of the other kids at my workplace are stupid. Me: "And why are they dumb?" Kid: "Cause they smashed the lamps outside" Me: "You smashed TWO OF THEM..." Kid: "Yeah but it was only two" 🤷‍♂️ How do I teach someone with 0 remorse?!

Only two shifts this week, both done and they didn't make me wanna jump in front of a train? Inconceivable! Blasphemy! Humbug!

030

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

It's actually chilly enough that I had to wear sweatpants + socks. This is heaven 🥹💙

Still cursing the me from like a month ago for agreeing to come into work today but at least it was only 5 hours and it was pretty uneventful for once :3

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Spent all day yesterday sleeping and I've barely done anything today... Why did past me agree to come into work for a couple of hours tomorrow? I could've had 4 days off... 💀

010

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I left for work at 07:30 today and I'm gonna get back home at 23:30... If I didn't have the next two days off and Trails 2nd chapter didn't arrive tomorrow, I'd be fucking livid... 💀

110

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Work done! Tired af... Glad I don't have work tomorrow! Thank you Mom for picking me up cause my first train got delayed by 20 minutes 💀

010

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I really want to play some games today but... 30 hours of work + 12 hours of commute these last 3 days... I think I just need down a few coffees and hope I don't pass out 😬

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Ok... fair enough :3 Mine's also a 4 digit one and that's me trying to hold back... (Idk who decided to release a bunch of expensive figures I want all in September but they hate me apparently) 💀

030

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Can't be worse than what I've spent/am gonna spend this month on figures...

140

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Work done! I had a feeling that today was gonna be the worst of the 3 days and I was right on the money 💀 At least I get to relax tomorrow 🥹

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

The bracer fight during the tournament is still haunting me to this day when I did that run on ng+ for the platinum 💀 Reverie you can just cheese with Schera at least :3

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Work done! Still didn't feel like staying overnight so I'm omw home. Turns out I did rather have to commute for 12 hours these last 3 days than stay there lol Tomorrow left then I have Sunday off at least: 3

020

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Hoping for the best! Sending you all the positive energy I have left 💛🫂

010

JayWay @jaywayokay.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Since I don't feel like absolute shit after my shift, I decided to take the commute instead of staying there (at least for today) I just can't imagine I'd be able to relax literally 5m away from my workplace... 😬
