Saw Resident Evil. First 3/4 were riveting, absolutely terrifying and funny. Stellar performance by the main guy. Alas, the last section felt like a different director or something took over. Crazy/goofy CGI everywhere.

I think I need to start reading science announcements from 20 years ago like they were breaking news so I can stop getting excited when I read about “miracle treatment for x” and the article always concludes with “we estimate we can begin testing on mice in 5-10 years.”

I went to the university for a whole wack of tests on how much electrolytes I should be taking in during exercise. Scans, electrodes, samples, multiple weigh-ins, and a 60min run on a treadmill. I’m now eating an A&W cheeseburger. I’m a complicated man, only my woman understands.

Cautionary tale on how important the opening 10-15min of your game. I played Days Gone years ago. I was surprised by a number of odd quick time events at the start. Not my kind of game + stopped playing. Curious, picked it up again recently, zero QTE in the actual game. What? Great, great game.
