Making a reel's not easy, and you'll probably get tired of listening to your own voice for hours on end LOL. But hopefully this outlines the process to make it a little easier! If you enjoyed, feel free to retweet/share 🙏 good luck on your apps gamers!

BONUS: Here's my cheat sheet for peer reviewing friends' reels (& my own drafts!) Overall, be mindful of reel length, and make sure you're showing your full skillset & best moments in every clip.

7. Once you make all your revisions & you're satisfied with your reel, upload the final edit as a Public YouTube video! Now you have a highlight reel that shows your style & best moments, ready to copy-paste as you fill out Commentary Applications.

6. Upload Unlisted to YouTube, and try to get peer review from friends IN AND OUT of the FGC. Let them know you’re looking for feedback on whatever they notice! Good (what's worth keeping?), bad (what can be cut/subbed out), or distracting (audio/video issues?).

CONTACT CARD - can be super simple, just a picture of your face + your Discord / Twitter / Email is perfect to leave up for 3-5sec at the end. use large, easy-to-read text!

TNS | Jaytsu ☕🎙️ @ CB, CEO @jaytsu.tns.gg · 29/11/2024

3. Find and clip a SOLID INTRO, introducing yourself w/your name, tag, & face on-screen. This is ESSENTIAL for Talent Selection to know which voice + face they're listening for throughout the reel. This should be your first clip, so find a good one!

TNS | Jaytsu ☕🎙️ @ CB, CEO @jaytsu.tns.gg · 29/11/2024

1. Download VODs of your commentary -- preferably only your best performances so that you have less hours of footage to sift through. For Twitch VODs I use TwitchLink, & for YouTube VODs I use Stacher! these two are perfect in my exp, but any free program w/timestamping works!

this movie is so damn sick LOL, from the visuals to the soundtrack to the brain twister of trying to navigate hyperreality so far removed from you that it's externalized to a different entity entirely up next: perfect blue
