@nerd4cities.bsky.social awesome video! Have a sort of unrelated topic suggestion if willing. I find it interesting that some cities are stagnant or shrinking overall, but despite that have downtowns that are densifying and growing. It’s an interesting phenomenon and could be worth exploring more.

Happy Veterans Day! I’m glad I was able to serve as well, and am thankful for the opportunities and support afforded! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Sanders: That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

Just recently moved into downtown Phoenix! I was able to get a 22nd floor apartment with lots of large windows and stunning views. Very Excited! 🤩

The words probably aren’t true, as most people know by now I’d assume. And yes I kept the Harris sign I waved when I went to her rally in Phoenix. Happy Pride month! 🏳️‍🌈

Idk tbh. They like living in their propaganda bubbles and having their confirmation bias constantly being reaffirmed. I’m slowly learning and accepting that they will have to come to the realization of everything on their own. There’s nothing we can say or do.

There’s a very easy way to get people to stop hating you.. stop being a bad person. Simple.

So according to Schumer, dems should concede and just hand republicans the power to destroy government, and then scream about republicans destroying government. What a spineless hack. He needs to be primaried.

I say go for it. Facebook has by far the largest user base of any social Media app. It’s certainly not going anywhere any time soon, so might as well infiltrate it. It’s arguable how effective that same idea would be with Twitter too, as it’s definitely an echo chamber now, but it’s also massive.

110

Jaycob Strandberg @jaystrandberg.bsky.social · 11/03/2025

Yea understandable. I would like to leave as well, but unfortunately it’s the only platform a lot of my family uses. And there’s still a decent amount of resistance and non maga people still there. So at the very least we can be a nuisance and keep FB from being an effective far right echo chamber.

One could hope, but considering the audience on FB I doubt it tbh. A lot of them are folks I grew up with in deep red TN.

Typical republican logic. They have to use fallacies constantly, as their positions usually are untenable otherwise.

Absolutely a mistake. Russia will take advantage of this.

Just goes to show the common conservative dissonance around nuance and detail. To them everything is a binary, so details like population density are not well understood because that requires a more nuanced view of data like this.

Absolutely, and it’s sad to see this nation sliding into autocracy at the hands of a dimwitted president(king) and his ignorant supporters cheering it on.

000

Jaycob Strandberg @jaystrandberg.bsky.social · 19/02/2025

Yep, some of the comments are literally, “these libtards don’t understand the joke hahah, cry more he’s your president.” Or something like that.

000

Jaycob Strandberg @jaystrandberg.bsky.social · 19/02/2025

I only said that because the maga comments on the post are calling it a joke. And tbh they’ve got to be joking with this shit. Cause it’s ridiculous!

000

Jaycob Strandberg @jaystrandberg.bsky.social · 19/02/2025

The maga comments are saying it’s a joke.

000

Jaycob Strandberg @jaystrandberg.bsky.social · 15/02/2025

True! Didn’t think about it like that.

I’d presume it was partly maga as well. Considering Trump was there.

000

Jaycob Strandberg @jaystrandberg.bsky.social · 11/02/2025

Agreed, and I still call it Twitter too. Sam Altman called it Twitter in an argument with Elon on there too. So funny seeing all the trolls triggered lol.

Oh I know, I implied that they can make an appeal in court. Outright defying though, will result in a constitutional crisis.
