Thank you for all your weeks of hard work! It's been fun, checking in and seeing teasers! Will we hear from you whether we're query ready/need a LOT more work? Or will only the 10queries/winners hear back? Thanks!

In honor of tomorrow's #Revpit coming to a close, I'm sharing my agent's guide for my 100k NA romantasy novel, To Best the Beast! It's been a fun, stressful, anxiety-inducing month of fun but I'm ready for it to come to a close. See you at camp?

I'm sure that makes you a better agent, though, when you feel it all the more. All the same, wishing you a good week ahead! 👍

TOG x GILDED Belvina is a straight up b*itch. Raised to hunt, she put her skills to better use among the Manorborn, playing a social game rather than one of bows and blood. But when a horrific beast rakes its claws over her life, Belvina finds herself out for blood. #Questpit #F

This might be a silly question, but can someone tell me what the greatest difference is between YA fantasy and adult? To me, A Court of Silver Flames SEEMS adult, yet it's not. Every list I find, the answers are skewed. But I'm starting to think my book might be YA . . .

Oof, today hurts. I realize not everyone can win, but I had SUCH high hopes for this story. Agents don’t want it, editors don’t want it. I’m honestly at a loss. I really could have used a win today, but I’m happy for everyone who did win.

Good morning, #RevPit Crew!! We're about an hour away from announcements & I just wanted to remind folks: You are a ✨storyteller✨ And even more, you had the courage to share your book!! I don't talk about it enough, but I genuinely feel so lucky to get to read what you all have written. [cont.]

I still have open editing slots for this year, and I’d love to help you make your story shine! ✨ I also get most of my new clients from word-of-mouth, so I really appreciate it when authors recommend my services to their writer friends. 💕 #RevPit

I know I’m being overly dramatic but this #RevPit waiting is killlllling me! I think I’ve written over 100 pages of my manuscript this week alone just as a distraction. This is my first year 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

That's kind of what I figured, but I see so many agented writers with character art, and part of me was hopeful that maybe they knew something I didn't . . . I mean, I'm sure they do, but just about art getting you a leg up or something. Thanks!

Great ideas! I've been considering commissioning character art of late, but I just wonder . . . do you think this is something an agent looks for in association with a story? I mean, will eye-popping art hook an agent on social media, or is it more for the writer's benefit? Thanks!

…. I feel like this could be mine just because I did use two YA comps for mine, even though it is adult—I think. Might have to reconsider that. And I did start with a fight scene because agents told me my chapter one was too slow …

Shatter Me was so good! I loved the way J’s darkest thoughts were crossed out; it was such a unique way of writing. Saw yesterday that there’s another book coming out … 😲

Umm, did I totally just create an entire outline for a story I thought up today? And did I really just write a query letter, under 350 words, for a story I haven't yet written? Yesss I did! And it is WAY past my bedtime!

Welcome to my official #RevPitTeaser thread! Here, I will post my most random and unhinged thoughts as I read and process my RevPit submissions. And maybe the occasional out-of-context editor chat posts as well 👀
